This is my second pair of Ultrarange's after getting the original style last year.I prefer the footbed and outsole on the EXO. I found the way the heel was made, with an uncovered heel pad versus the covered one on the standard Ultrarange was annoying at first - scraping my heel when wearing no-show socks, but it's gotten better over time. The toe box fits a little more snug than on SK8-hi's or Old Skools, but still very close in size, and they stretched out quickly.Overall, I love my experiences with the Ultrarange line as a whole so far.And the shipping was fast!

I love the style and comfort of these vans. I just spent 16 hours in them including going to a Saints game and my feet were happy the whole time. They fit me true to size. Can't beat the price as I compared them to purchasing on Amazon and paid significantly less on Backcountry. Thanks, Mark

I have been wearing these daily since I received them in august. I only work in an office and do moderate walking throughout the day. After the first few weeks the toe material began separating from the knit material and it has progressively gotten worse. The other shoe is tearing at the area where those two materials meet. I really wanted to love these since they look great and are very comfortable but they just don’t hold up to moderate use.

During my 3 week trip in Europe, this was my all around shoes. You could wear with jeans or chino pants. At first, it seems a bit tight but after one day, the fit was perfect. The shoes are light and the sole gives you proper support. For hotter days, the shoes were breathable. Someone with wider feet should try them first as I wear regular width.
I love Vans, but classic slides are not ideal for exercise. I like the idea of a cool looking athletic shoe. These arrived quickly and were super comfy. I didn't wear them around the house or out and about, but only for a daily four mile walk. Nothing glowing to report- functional, comfortable, stylish. However, after just a few weeks, the material on the inner and outer toe box began to stretch/tear. Those folks who are avid Vans wearers (and possibly skaters too), will recognize this particular location as the olie/nolie wear and tear spot. However, I haven't skated in years, and coming in at 90 bucks, I was expecting a higher quality, hip old lady walking shoe. I will note, the material where the tear occurred is thiner and "breathable", making it comfortable, but I suspect weak and susceptible to this kind of damage (I will also note that I do not wear a wide shoe size, but did find these a bit narrow near the toe box). Again- cool shoe. Comfy.
Look good and feel comfortable for the most part, but I had multiple pairs of the now discontinued Ultrarange Rapidwelds, and these Exos are considerably lacking in quality when compared. The mesh tears easily, the thumb pulls are too small and flimsy and also tear, and the tongue is too thin to be comfortable. The Rapidwelds had a cushioned tongue. Sad state of Vans at the moment. Huge drop off in quality but the price is the same or higher. Let down.
Have had so many ultra range shoes, but it does seem now the manufacture quality has dropped. Easily ripping, thumb loops made too small to use, the tongue is also wafer thin now. Miss that padded one.
Great looking shoe but the size was small. I wear a 9 regular and i could barely get my foot into the shoe. I tried a 10.5 size on and that seems to be a better fit. I recommend going at least a size up
Love these shoes so much. They are so confortable. It is the second pair that I buy in a different colour. I also convinced my boyfriend to buy the same model.
These vans are super cool! They deliver the comfort, breathability and lightness of a running shoe, while maintaining that cool skater style. My only minor complaint is that they’re slightly too roomy. But not enough to warrant the hassle of exchanging
