I’ve been on a Vans kick lately and wanted to try the UltraRange VR-3. I bought the navy which looks nice. The shoes are very lightweight and breathable. The top of the heel tab rubbed against my achilles but after a few wearings with a sock with a higher heel tab, that part broke in nicely. Cushion sole feels really good.

Super comfortable, I can't get over how comfortable they are. My only little issue has been my socks, if I wear invisible socks or socks that slip down, the heel rubs a bit. Just bought the vans tube socks to wear with them to fix this issue and I'm super happy

I bought these shoes for casual wear but also wanted to see how they perform at the gym. I’ve run in them—they did pretty well but they are better for lifting.

These are now my new favorite Vans. They're the most comfortable shoes I've worn right out of the box. Super lightweight and a great design. I dig the color scheme on these as well. To top it all off, they're eco-friendly. Great job, Vans!!
I was looking for shoes to do my 10km commute every day, and those seemed great, but unfortunately, if you don't have a big arch, they will feel weird. I ha read that they were even comfier than Hokas (I love my Bondi 7), but this is totally off. The sole feels firmer and now very well "balanced" because the arch section feels firmer than the rest. I just tried them on and had to return them. I usually wear 10.5 Vans and the 11 VR3 fitted similarly as the 10.5.
These shoes run quite small, are narrow, and generally feel like your foot is falling out of them. I own two other pairs of ultrarange shoes that I really like, but these fit differently.
Pass on these shoes, very narrow, and a full size too smaller than my other Vans. The material felt like my toes could bust through it if I raised my toes. Also the sole has a very weird curve to it in the middle making it feel even more narrow. Just not the quality of most Vans.
One star, as more need to shoot for Vans goal of producing a shoe made of recycled and recyclable materials. Plus they look cool. The downside - is the fit - length is good, width not too bad, but the volume is horrendously small/low for a shoe that’s meant for comfort and kicking around.
Decent design. I was really hoping to like these shoes. They felt good at the store, so I got them. QUICKLY got blisters ALL over my feet.
These are really comfortable, super cushioned and I can easily wear them all day - but, they make a hissing sound with almost every step, like air is being pushed out. Also, the big gap on the bottom will occasionally create a suction while stepping and make a popping noise when you lift your foot back up. Oddly, this happens with almost every step of you're walking backwards (which I frequently do at work while pulling carts around the hospital). I really wish they were just regular, silent shoes. I would've ordered a couple more colorways but as is I don't think I'd really want another pair, which is really unfortunate because I love Vans styles and was thrilled to find an ultra comfort focused pair.
