Despite the low soles, the impact cushioning is excellent!Now for the negative: I don't know what kind of shoe laces vans supplies, but they're an absolute joke. I had to change the shoe laces after every second session. It's best to buy a pair of high-quality laces with the shoe.The shoe also tears open suspiciously quickly on the side.

Great looking shoes, but the cut is quite a bit thinner than some styles. Personally find the Rowans a lot comfier.

The shoe fits very well has good board feel and grips the tape nicely. I like the sock type feel and the heel holds well.The bad - crazy that I have this Ollie hole after three sessions. Not too sure why would love for vans to contact me. There is the toe box reinforcement in tact. I would give the shoe six stars if the material lasted longer fyi.Need Zion to do a 100 kick flips on YouTube to see if it's just this pair!
First time picking up a pair of the "Pro" range of shoes and they are so much better that on the entry canvas ones. Better padded, much more comfortable and just fit better. I'm sold.
Fantastic, nothing but praise from me! Bought two pairs for my old man too, which blew his mind with the comfort level and distinct feeling of the surface walked upon. Not just brilliant for skateboarding in other words! Best pair of Vans ever owned thus far, and I've been through many...
Let me start with the shoe last - a tad bit more narrow than the skate series HOWEVER thats gunna happen with cups. Ends up feeling comfortably snug with a tiny bit of toe spread ability. Just enough to make it not cramped. With that being said the uppers/toe cap fit very snug upon unboxing but will losen up after a break in period of what seems to be an hour or two in some thick socks. After break in shoes feel and skate great! The shoe is a tad short in the toe box like the kyle walkers but thats honestly better for flick as long as it aint making your toes go numb. Best cupsole sizing among alot of models/brands. The impact control is next level for vans. Good grip even on dusty griptape. Decent durability so far.
