It works for exactly as described. It’s unfortunate that literally no other card works in their camera. I even tried one of the recommended cards and it would say “slow card”. Feels like something shady is going on, but I have zero proof to back it up.

Unfortunately, no assessment can be made. The camera gave each card a "card error". In the hope that a truly original SD card will fix the error, I ordered a Vantrue SD card. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. I need to buy a new camera before I can judge. But it's not possible at the moment.

Just perfect dashcam, 4K HDR in front camera is perfect specially at night times for number plates.I upgrade from N2 pro which was great but I see huge improvement in N4 pro.Hardwire kit was easily to install, I also got 512 vantrue memory card for long time recording history.Support helped me even with customs process to get the dashcam, which was a kind step from their side even though it was not a vantrue product related thing.I strongly recommend vantrue.

I have reformatted it twice as recommended. The video is excellent . I have had no trouble with skipping or any problems at all. I have a second unopened Vantrue SD card in the glove box in case the current card wears out.
I purchased the Vantrue 512GB micro SD Card with my E3 and the video playback quality on my computer is excellent! Using the Vantrue Player, which I downloaded, I am able to view each segment of video recorded on the Vantrue micro SD Card. The included micro SD Card Adapter allows me to insert the SD card into the adapter which then fits into the designated slot in my computer to view videos if I choose not to connect the camera directly to my computer using the included USB cable. Plenty of storage!
Easily Installed the E2 in my car and am impressed by its functionality given the relatively low cost. Vantrue also makes dash cams for motorcycles but the cost is much higher than the E2, for the same functionality. So I’m adapting the E2 (yes it’s not waterproof but that is easily overcome) for my classic motorcycles. The E2 is that good and has a reasonable price.
Camera is perfect and micro sd ok, the only problem I have the electrostatic sticker of the rear camera does not hold with the weight of the camera and the vibrations, I regularly find the camera hanging with the sticker at the rear of the vehicle! No problem with the front one.
Good value vs other sources. Would seem the Vantrue N4 would include at least a 16GB card to get started. Didn't realize that until after rec'd the N4 and found needed to order and wait for a Vantrue memory card. Vantrue needs to have that pop up as a needed accessory. I don't mind paying separate for one but did not like waiting another week or so to get a card to start using the N4.
This camera at night time performs very poorly. I purchased this camera with everything Vantrue I purchased the 256GB memory card and the vantrue wiring kit as recommended. Daytime recording the camera does well. I spent well over $200 on the camera and accessories I feel I could have done better considering how much money I spend. Honest review of my personal experience with the Vantrue n2 pro .
I've only enjoyed the dashcam for 4 days. It was installed professionally, cost $270 dollars for labor. Before yesterday, the Vantrue N5 powered-off seconds later. The installers told me that from their experience, the Vantrue hardwire kit would burn-out. When it was working, why does it only give you a chance to choose between collision or motion movement? Why not both? The pairing with wifi is also figidity. The app always asks to pair/connect. Why did Vantrue go this route? It should be as easy as the dashcam powering on when you turn thr key to your car and for it to connect to wifi when the app is open. So far, I am super disappointed.
