Best value alkaline batteries in NZ.With the kids toys always needed new batteries these are the most economical way to keep them going. Last for years in TV remotes etc.

Good pricing for 30 batteries. I have used this brand previously and am happy with these batteries. Good to have on hand.
Varta batteries used to be made in Germany. They are now made in China despite Bunnings website claiming they are still made in Germany. I have told Bunnings Customer Service that they need to remove the "Made in Germany" on the product website as it is misleading. They are not the same quality German made battery that they used to be.
Not the best batteries but do the job, they don’t last that long but I think they are better then the ADLI battlers
These batteries were pretty good when these were 'Made in Germany'. Now, you get what you pay for pretty much.
I'm not sure why these batteries are rated so highly. I've had to replace all of them within <6 months for items that shouldn't need to be (eg. computer mouse). The charge in them doesn't last. I'd accept it if I was flying drones or something intensive, but TV remotes? Recommend to stay with the trusted brands. You pay more, but you get decent quality without failures.
These batteries are rubbish as I have had 3 sets leak in remote controlls.The latest are marked good until 2028 but they have still leaked damaging the remote. I have previously left the details of leakage for the battery rep but did not receive a call. Dont buy these unless they are used in a high usage device.
