I have psoriasis, mostly inverted but not all. This and the regular Vaseline is the only thing that helps it. I’ve tried every cream, lotion and RX. Nothing helps but this. It doesn’t get rid of it but it makes it bearable. I also rub it on my scalp nightly for my scalp psoriasis and wash it out in the morning. I did get a comment once in a review that someone else with psoriasis did not like this one as she says the cocoa butter fragrance or something bothers her psoriasis, so it may not be for everyone, but I’ve not had any issues and I’m terribly sensitive to fragrances and scents smelling them or applying products with them. I go through one of these tubs every 4-5 days so it adds up. I bought a cocoa butter generic once, it was only a few cents cheaper but sadly it didn’t suit me. That one did stink and burned a bit too. Irritated my skin when it was already irritated. The only thing I can guess as to why it wasn’t as good was that it must use a different cocoa butter or additive or fragrance they use for the cocoa butter portion. I now just stick to brand name. However, plain Vaseline is fine brand or generic. Ive only noticed a difference between the cocoa butter ones. Hope this helps!

We have been using vaseline for years on years. It is such a staple in a mexican household. This and Vicks go hand in hand. My baby ended up getting a minor yeast infection in her little rolls and no ointment was helping her so I started to smother vaseline in her crevices and it started healing within days. Our doctor still recommended us a steroid to apply in the area but once it healed this has become our only butt cream we use. We had to buy a little spatula to help us apply it because our hands were in and out of this thing and we couldn't of imagined the amount of bacteria we were putting in it. All in all it is a great thing to have in every household. It even works on cuts and burns. And I even carry an extra one with me for my lips on dryer days

Love the touch of cocoa butter in Vaseline in the summer! Just wish they offered it in the big size for better value. Nice scent of coco butter without being too much. Ladies here’s a tip for extremely soft feet… After massaging some of this into your feet and toes, don’t follow up with socks. It comes off too fast and ultimately is a waste of product and money. Instead, follow the moisturizing treatment with wrapping your feet (going up to your toes if desired) with a soft plastic wrap. (I use Targets and also the name brand. The key here is *soft plastic wrap. If you use a more generic plastic wrap it won’t feel good and can even v quickly become bother some.) I recently bought this product because I had a bad fall and had to have 15 stitches in my face. The ER nurse recommended that I apply petroleum jelly on my wound. She said it worked at keeping it from getting infected and helped with the healing until my stitches dissolved. This is the first time I had ever used Vaseline with cocoa butter in it. Oh my goodness it smells amazing. That was kind of a bonus having it on my face. I got to enjoy a great scent while I was healing. This product is dermatologist tested. That made me feel better about using it. I would use a q-tip to apply it on my incision. Not only did it moisturize and help heal my incision but it helped with my pain so much. I picked up the new Healing Vaseline with Cocoa Butter when the original was not available. So glad I did. It helps the healing process excelerate! I have personally used on infected scratches, sore lips and scratches on legs and ankles. Today as I sit with my dear friend recovering from cancer and in the mist of 33 radiation treatments I applied a heavy layer to the areas on her head, neck and throat to see if that would give her some relief to her badly burned skin. She says the stinging and tingling almost stopped immediately. She has fallen to sleep and napping comfortably now. She didn’t get much rest last night because of her hurting, stinging and throbbing skin. Needless to say, I am so happy for her! We will continue using the Healing Vaseline here on out.
