Vaseline Body Lotion Cocoa Glow 750ml

So I bought this as an alternative to Palmer's Cocoa Butter because they've reformulated. This cost £2.68 on sale, so for 400ml that's a huge bargain especially to those on a budget so it will last a long time. It has a light texture and rubs into the skin quickly and easily asy. The fragrance isn't overly cocoa buttery (?), but the scent doesn't last long anyway. It has great ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter and petrolatum, so it's super moisturising, plus during winter time I mix it with an oil to give it a boost. Two things I'd change about this product maybe 1. The scent doesn't last long which is a shame and 2. I wish it had a pump, having such a large amount in a squeezy bottle can make it a bit awkward to use. I really love this product! Anything made by Vaseline is always amazing, but I love Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter products. And then it glows too? It smells amazing, like real cocoa butter, not fake chocolate, ya know what I mean? The hydration is superb! It melts into the skin, but also gives a longevity. It's super smooth and feels nice and quality. The glow is subtle and not glittery. It gives a nice shimmer. I would recommend!

My new favorite lotion. I order this, Cocoa Radiant Lotion for myself in the men's version. Both formula’s moisturize very well and the microdroplets of Vaseline Jelly really help to seal in moisture. These lotions quickly sink into the skin without leaving a greasy or heavy feeling behind. I like the cocoa butter scent and that it leaves behind a light fragrance on the skin without being too heavy. I find that this version leaves my skin a little more dewy and supple compared to the other. My skin stays soft all day when I use this after my shower. My skin also looks healthier since switching to this lotion.

('22) IC: Daily Task - Vaseline is that brand! Along with Jergens, at one point were the only few brands you could see and trust on store shelves. Now on the scene is Cocoa Butter scent, which is not over bearing to me, but intense in moisturizing to nurture our skin. Handy pump or squeeze bottle. This has been used by our family for years. Vaseline knows their business and their consumer. This brand has been in business for quite some time and has many used for everything under the sun. Vaseline has elevated their brand in creating different products and are great for giving us nice smooth and healthy skin protection. It's a brand you can trust. I would recommend it to any and everyone. Found at most stores for about $4.99 and up.

This is my favorite lotion. I've seen a lot of complaints about the new smell, but honestly, I like it, it smells like chocolate and isn't overpowering once it's been on you for a few minutes. It feels good and hydrating to my skin, and helps with the ashiness on my elbows. I have super sensitive skin, and this does me very well. I have the big bottle with the pump, and it's way better than the mini ones. It's perfect for spring and summer, so soothing, especially after a warm shower. It's also super cozy for winter months. If you wanna smell like (non-overpowering) chocolate, get rid of some ashiness, and feel moisturized, and/or have sensitive skin, I highly recommend.

I have been using this for years. Tbh it's not my favorite but it gets the job done. I have found that I gravitate towards thicker lotions and body creams because the thinner formulas soak into my skin but doesn't moisturize. I do have mature dry skin so I use what works for me. The reason I gave this rating was because when introducing familiar products to my toddlers this has kept their skin moisturized and soft. It doesn't have a strong fragrance and it's light texture gives their gentle skin exactly what's needed. They will grow up with this product just as I did.

This deeply moisturizing body lotion nourishes and restores dry skin. The formula is hydrating and rich, but it is not greasy or heavy. It absorbs quickly, leaving behind radiant skin. It has a lovely scent. This product is as good as, or better than, high end lotions that cost significantly more. It feels and smells luxurious, but it is affordable and easy to find in stores. I highly recommend this lotion!

I've passed on this lotion so many times in the store, mostly just because I've never had great experiences with Vaseline lotion. They dry down too sticky for my liking. But this one surprisingly doesn't do that, and it makes my skin super soft, combining it with the body oil gel pictured. It's not difficult to work into the skin, it's the perfect consistency, not too watery, but not extremely thick and hard to spread around. The smell is sooo good as well, just a warm cocoa butter scent, with maybe a hint of vanilla. Love this so much already, and I will definitely buy it again!

Smell Is Off

At least the bottle is stable and doesn't tip over. The color blends into rooms. The consistency of the lotion is great, smooth, with medium coverage. But I have to give it a 2 because they ruined the smell of cocoa butter by masking it with something that smells vaguely like fruity dirt. Maybe some engineer thinks brown=dirt? No! Brown=color of cocoa bean. Gross. I'll just use it on my legs because I don't want to be smelling it up here.
