I use this to carry a small on-camera monitor and its accessories for video production. It's as rugged and well made as any Pelican case - that is, essentially indestructible. The latches with their inset release buttons are probably very secure, but take both hands for me to operate. I prefer the type on my larger Pelicans overall. The handle is fixed and molded with the case so it doesn't fold during transport and storage. This makes it a little harder to stack with other items than a hinged luggage style handle. The internal dividers are sturdy and well padded, but the sizes provided don't really allow a lot of flexibility in configuring them. The long one only fits right across the middle of the case and won't work anywhere else. On the other hand, I like that the whole inner tray lifts out easily.

I bought this for my mirrorless camera and accessories. Although the price seems steep, the quality of the case is totally worth it. It doesn't look/feel cheap. You can buy small padlocks to keep the case secure. The foam inside this case is premium quality. It's not already precut, so you'll have to do it yourself. I bought an electric poultry knife for around $20.00 at Best Buy as well to cut foam evenly, as suggested by another users comment. Makes it much easier to cut correctly and hey you can cut thanksgiving turkey or a whole chicken later if need be. Win-win situation. Highly recommended.

The carry handle does not swivel. it stays stationary. so it protrudes. may or may not effect you. on the plus side it has a robust feel, on the minus, it gives it a bit larger footprint. The clasps are nice, everything feels quality and built to last. The size is good for all purpose. Insuppose these were made for firearms, but i use them for things like sound gear. The mixpre3ii and a wirless lav fit well.

The Pelican 100 is a fantastic case. Thick hard outer shell will help keep your firearms safe from rough handling. The foam is nice and firm without being abrasive so no wear on your finish. Plenty of room for two firearms or one firearm and a few magazines. The lock points are large enough to accommodate a good sized lock. Its small enough to fit inside a large check in luggage so added protection there also. A very good value for the money.
I have purchased several Pelican cases for my tools and sensitive equipment, all through B&H.However, it was through my recent purchase of this Pelican Vault V100 that I was reminded of what a gem of company B&H is. The personal sales and customer service assistance that I have received throughout the years is second to none.Thank you to Eitan B., Daniela C., and Samuel B. and to all of the other B&H team members who have helped me throughout the years. Thank you ALL!I hope I get to visit the actual store someday.
Very nice design and engineering. Latches are nice design and easy to use. I'm only giving it 3 stars because I noticed a large gap on the right side when closed, while on the left side the gap is considerably smaller. Not sure if this will affect sealing. Hence, there is a question regarding quality control. I don't see this issue with any of my Nanuck cases.
I wanted a Light Weight case to hold my R6 with the RF100 - 400 lensattached to Camera Body , to transport in car to and from locations.. and to Leave assembled on my days off for next day use. This case is PERFECT for this use ..Case will also fit my RF 600 f/11 STM lens attached as well. And offers Plenty of room for Spare Batteries and Filters and chargerInterior is Surprisingly Spacious and Dividers and Insert of HighQuality throughout.. If you are looking for a Quality Case for under$ 100.00 , I HIGHLY recommend this Case ..
I purchased this small case to hold my lens filters. Yes, I am an analog camera user and needed a container to hold four different size filters. Two sizes for 35mm cameras and two for medium format camera lenses. I purchased the case to replace an f-stop gear small shallow ICU as I wanted something to offer better protection for my filter investments while traveling.I initially thought that the case would hold the filters in the B+W filter cases but didn't with the configuration of the dividers and foam lid. I replaced the foam with a 1 foam in the lid and now the filters, all 20+ , fit with the lid closed. The case is used for vehicle travels and when hiking I can move filters from the case and into my backpack. Probably would have been better if Pelican used ... MoreI purchased this small case to hold my lens filters. The case is used for vehicle travels and when hiking I can move filters from the case and into my backpack. Probably would have been better if Pelican used convoluted foam in the lid.One thing I have noticed between the hard case manufacturers is that they don't supply the divider heights that are used! That would give a lot better idea as to what will fit inside whether laying down or upright. All in all, I guess I like it as with a little change in configuration, it now works for the reason I purchased the item.
I bought the wrong size. However, it's perfect for other items such as some of my flash items. Or if I don't use it for flash, I use it for non camera related items. It's light weight and I've beat mine up well on camping trips and it shows no wear and tear. The clamps fight tight. Good padding. Good item to have for just about anything.
I use this for my most precious gear. That's right folks, it's the Leica Box. I love the way it keeps the dust out and protects my cameras and lenses. Room for two bodies and 5 lenses and a bunch of other accessories. The elastic straps inside are great for keeping things where you want them. The case locks do an excellent job preventing accidental opening. I wish I had that feature on some musical instrument cases! All in all this case is a bargain.
