Veet Hair Removal Cream Sensitive Skin 400 ml

I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t remove much hair on my lower leg. The upper portion of my leg more around my knee was so smooth, but the lower half was not. I ended up having to shave after. Now after the shave my legs were the smoothest they have ever been. I do like the spatula it comes with! Super helpful to put on the cream and remove it without getting it all over my hands. It didn’t break out my skin at all which was also super nice as I’m sensitive to almost everything. I may attempt again and update my review! Would love to hear others thoughts or tricks. I followed the instructions to the tee, even left on for the full 10 minutes. Just not happy with the final results

Veet Hair Removal Cream for Sensitive Skin, 400 mL is great for those who can’t shave/wax/epilate due to chronic skin conditions but like to remove hair body hair occasionally/up to 1-2x per week. The “Sensitive” formula is less noxious than the original, but the pink bottle still smells like you’re getting a permanent. - caveat: I use this longer than recommended (it sits on my legs/underarms/bikini area for prob 15 min instead of the specified 10). If you’re prone to lingering redness or easy bruising, skip it in favor of a washcloth to remove the cream/hair - I get best results when globbing this stuff on THICK, like 2-3 uses per bottle thick. It just doesn’t work the same if it’s not absolutely saturating the hair. Experiment with amount and timing, removing a bit of cream after 5 min, 8 min, etc to check on the condition of the hair: you’ll know it’s “done” when hair wipes away easily and looks kinda sizzled -I have chronic skin conditions from eczema to a genetic thing affecting my body hair follicles but Veet Sensitive has never bothered my skin (The Scraper, otoh, has scratched tf out of it—stay away!) - Biggest thing for sensitive skin when using: after wiping away cream/hair, wash and rinse skin thoroughly

Generally, I’m not actually a fan of hair removal cream as my hair is mostly soft and less growing, which makes it hard to remove perfectly everything. Hence, after using , still I need to shave 🪒 to make it clear. Anyways, it really helps if you wants your skin smooth and last longer. My husband is using it all the time for body hair and it really works on him. However, you really need to be strict with the timing if you wanna use it, if you apply and the waiting time taken more than the instruction, your skin will get hurt and pain afterwards. It really happens with me at first time use 🤭

Easier application, nicer smell

I found the new pump so much easier to use than squeezing a tube and to be able to spread it with my hand was even better, as so much quicker than using a spatula. Unfortunately, the hair on my legs is very strong and it took a bit longer than suggested to get them reasonably smooth; however, I will leave on a little longer next time and hope that gives me a better result. Not the cream that is the problem, but my very hairy legs! The smell is much better, too. Recommended.

Good for sensitive skin

Full disclosure I don't wax. But you grow more of having to shave all the time and I was given these waxing sheets to try so I gave waxing a whirl. These waxing strips smell lovely and it was really easy to use (once I became committed) I love how it came with sheets to wipe away the wax and my sensitive skin hasn't reacted which was a big surprise for me and one of the reasons I avoided waxing in the past. Great alternative to shaving

If you’re anything like me and your skin gets extremely itchy, irritated and uncomfortable after shaving, this is definitely an alternative worth looking into. I’ve found that I might have to go over some areas more than once (hence the 4 stars) but other than that, I have no fault with it at all. It is pricey but I got mine at half price so I’m hoping there will be another sale where I can get it at half price again. The smell is very pleasant and there’s a good amount of product inside which will last me a little while especially now that we’re approaching Autumn.

There was also some spots where it didn’t remove the hair at all but I applied a small amount of extra cream and it then removed the other hairs. Usually my hair grows back very quickly but it has been over a week and I have noticed that it is significantly shorter than it would normally be after this length of time if I had shaved.

Okay product

I was very excited to try this product but it didn’t go as planned. The strips were easy to use but after using it it got very messy with me. I could feel the sticky stuff in my skin after the wax remover. There needs to be more of the wax remover in it. It did do its job as it was able to get all the hair out and my skin felt smooth afterwards. Overall good product.

That's what I was looking for!!!

I only used cream before, maybe 15 years ago and it was horrible! First, the smell was horrendous, then was the itch and burn, the skin was irritated and all the experience wasn't a pleasure. Nowadays however, the ingredients changed, leaving you with the best possible experience! The cream's scent doesn't give you unpleasant face expression, no irritation whatsoever, no red dots all over your leg, skin stay smooth and soft, no ingrowing hair and the most important - soft, thinner hair grows back. Absolutely fantastic and I will come back for some more!

Normally i order the Veet Spray but it got substituted for this. Honestly cant reccomend, the first time I used it it took two attempts to remove all the leg hair - I thought maybe it was due to the fact the hair was long after not doing it in so long, but a couple weeks after when I came to use it again it still took two attempts and even then didn't do the job, its VERY time consuming and alot of faff honestly I'd of been better of just shaving. Certainly wont be buying it and if it gets subbed in I will be handing it straight back!
