Best Sneaker Love It
This is my 2nd pair of Veja Sneakers. I love them! There is no breaking them in. I am usually a size 7 US and the 37/6 US fits me perfect.I love the Extra-White Petale color pink which is lighter than my original pair that is a darker pink. My first pair is 2 years old, I am keeping them for walking and the new pair for going out. Nice surprise is that I was able to pick them up in store the same day I ordered them and walked out wearing them. Veja Sneakers are very comfortable for me, I have literally walked miles and miles in them. Thank you Nordstrom for carry this brand.... Show more

cool, classic sneaker
I love this shoe. I now have three pairs and just ordered the extra white. The Esplar is perfect for me. I have small feet, about a 6 so I ordered a 37. I wear mine almost everyday. I have developed some issues with my feet and with a knee and these look great with nearly everything and are comfortable. I haven’t really had issues with the tongue, but I do feel that they require a period of breaking in. As I have a bit of a bunion I find the Esplar to be the more comfortable between this style and the Campo. The Campo has a higher wall of rubber and it is not as flexible nor does it stretch because of the higher rubber wall. The Esplar has a lower rubber wall and the leather stretches to expand at the point where my bunion is. I wear these sneakers with skirts and ... MoreI love this shoe. Love the look, wear poorly
I love the way these shoes look, and didn't find any problems with the tongue (as other reviewers have mentioned) after the first 1-2 wears. I've had my shoes for about a year now of average wear, and I will say that they are completely worn through. The bottom sole is almost completely down to nothing, and the shoes look insanely crumpled and worn. They are way way more destroyed looking than any other pair of sneakers I've had with the same amount of usage. I know that they're white, but I have periodically cleaned and conditioned them. That also doesn't account for the fact that the sole is basically threadbare at this point. They honestly look like a pair of shoes someone has had in a closet for decades. For sneakers this expensive I would've expected much ... Quality is amazingly...poor
These shoes were super cute. I could forgive the stiffness during the break-in period, which thankfully was relatively short (couple days). I could forgive my heel slipping out, which thankfully stopped after they were broken in. I could forgive the laces being extremely difficult to pull through each eyelet. If there were odor issues, which there weren't, I would have found a way to forgive and deal with that. But what I cannot forgive is that the soles started separating after wearing about 6 times. I have never experienced anything like this--I weigh 100 lbs. sopping wet, and am not hard on my shoes.... Show more

SIZE DOWN, GOOD FOR NARROW FEET!
I went through hundreds of reviews and wasn't sure what size to get. I ended up sizing down a full size and going with my actual EU Size (35 which is a 5 in US) and they fit perfectly! They aren't too tight and aren't loose at all, perfect snug fit. I'll say they don't have the most cushion, but for some reason they still feel very light and comfy. I wore them straight out of the box on day one, and although the flap took some breaking in, overall the break-in period was very short (if any). Did not experience any discomfort!... Show more

STYLISH BUT NOT AS COMFY
Esthetically, the shoes are great...comfort, not as much. I find the leather to be hard..and the shoes sound heavy when you walk. They sound like dress shoes. I am in between a 6.5 and 7, usually a 7 in sneakers and so I ordered a 37. My heel comes up when I walk. I would say these run a little large, however since they don't come in 1/2 sizes, I think a 6 would have been too small. I will wear these only on occasion, when I know I won't be doing too much walking. I find my Cole Haan sneakers to be much more lighter and more comfy for all day walking. I would not purchase another pair of the Vejas.... Show more

Third pair of Veja shoes- my go-to sneaker!
These are my favorite sneakers. I am now going on my 3rd pair since 2016. They have each lasted four years, I have changed the laces and use them until they are worn out. I wear these every day, for work, for travel, with jeans, dresses, loungewear.I love Veja because they are a conscious company, sustainably source their rubber in Brazil and don’t do any advertising. These shoes are fair trade too.... Show more

Uncomfortable, with odd problems
Unfortunately, these shoes require numerous internet searches on "how to break them in," and "why is the tongue overly long and what to do about it?" and "why don't they fit right?" Some people have apparently been able to manipulate the leather or slide the tongue to the side or tuck it under (?) or exchange them for a different size, but seriously?! That's a lot of work for a pair of shoes. I don't think mine will ever fit right, and just a few minutes of wear in the house rubbed my ankles raw. Sure, they are cute, and stylish, but I, for one, am not willing to sacrifice comfort for that. Especially because I need a comfortable shoe for walking and travel. Celebs who wear these must have gotten them for free and were romanced by the sustainability or something. ... Veja lettters peeling off after third wear
I’ve worn these three times and the Veja black letters are peeling off. They are stiff and have no cushioning. I have no idea what people like about these but I fell for it and feel super silly for jumping on the bandwagon. They are not worth $20 let alone $150. The only perk is that they match everything but Naturalizer is making a shoe that looks like this but I’m guessing Will actually be focused on quality and comfort.... Show more

Very stylish shoes and comfortable.
Very stylish shoes and comfortable. Didnt take long to wear them in. They are very low profile and very subtle. The shade of white is not bright white but rather slightly off-white. I don't like bright white, bulky sneakers so these are perfect for me. I did size up and they fit perfectly. The toe box is wider than a lot of womens' sneakers so I don't get pain in my toes or on the balls of my feet when I wear them.... Show more
