Crafted from chrome-free leather,this model features an embossed logo on the tongue, a triple velcroclosure, organic cotton shoelaces and the brand's signature light bluelogo patch in rubber and rice waste. The mesh inner lining made fromrecycled materials was developed to acquire a better resistance tofriction. The organic-sourced and recycled insole consists of sugarcane, Amazon rubber, organic cotton and recycled EVA. It is set on acream rubber sole made from organic and recycled materials. Thisleather undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavymetals or dangerous acids are involved. By simplifying the tanningprocess, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of wateris reduced by about 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, thewater is recyclable.
