I was obsessed with these white-on-white retro runners for my trip to London...until I put them on and realized that there is no cushion, not even with the foam sole. The insole is as hard as rock. It's actually the strangest thing. I don't know how (or why) they made sneakers this rock hard. I kept them because they are so darn cute with dresses and skirts, but they are definitely not made for walking any distances as a tourist without at least replacing the removable insole with a cushionier insole. Also, I wear a size 37 in the Veja Esplar and Campo, but a size 38 in these. (Espalr and Campo run one size large, but these are actually TTS).

Yes, these are cute, and I'll keep them for the style...however, they're stiff and uncomfortable, the laces aren't very good quality, and my toe comes right up against the top of the shoe (I'm a size 8, and I bought a size 39). However, I hesitate to say I should have gotten a size up, because I do think anything larger would be TOO large. These are just cut kind of funky. Maybe European sizes are just different.Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend.

These are the best sneakers I've ever owned. I'm so happy I invested in this brand. I love the way they look, feel, wear, and how they are made. Being my best at trying to be more Eco friendly so I couldn't pass these by. Love, love love! People keep asking me about them at least once a day! Hands down some of the best shoes I've ever worn/bought. Not only do they go with literally almost everything, they're extremely comfortable. I'm always reaching for these to wear over so many other sneakers in my closet. Usually a 6.5 in most shoes, but sized up to a 7 since other reviews said they run a bit small. The 38 fits perfect. I will be buying another pair since I wear the other pair SO much. You will not regret this purchase - BUY THEM!
First of all I love the look of these shoes! They are great staple to ramp up a casual look. I read on the Veja site that they run small so when I ordered I ordered a size up. On their site they are listed as a unisex shoe. I am a female. Even a size up these shoes were too short in the toe. They are also very wide. I’m afraid another whole size up may make them too wide for my foot but because I love them I’m willing to give them another try.
Listen to the reviews and size up. I didn’t read the reviews because I’ve wanted this style for a while and have a few other Veja styles. I’m always a 45 in Veja, but these were too short so I had to purchase a 46 elsewhere unfortunately. The 46 is perfect and I love them. Good quality for the price.
These just might be the cutest white-on-white retro sneakers out there. I picked these up for a trip to London where I knew I would be walking miles and miles...but it turns out the the insole is rock hard. There is absolutely no cush in these...so while these weren't great tourist sneakers they are adorable with skirts and dresses when long distance isn't required. SIZING: Unlike the Veja Campo and Esplar sneakers, which run large, these run true to size to the Veja size chart.
These were a gift so I tried to make them work. Why only whole sizes Veja? You guys can afford to open up half size molds. Sized up so they are too big by a half size, no support in the forefoot, tongue is high so rubs the shin/ankle, and the laces are too thick for the eyelets. Changed out the insoles, swapped out for slimmer/smoother laces and folded over the tongue. Always get compliments so awarded one star. Bummed that I had to work hard to get them to passable comfort :(
Okay sizing I am learning is very weird with Vejas. I had tried the Espalars my normal size (7) which I ALWAYS am a true 7, and they were huge and I didn’t love the look. Saw these and loved them and had tried a 6. I found them to be slightly tight on my big toe so I just ordered a 7 to see which fit is best. These are a shoe I highly recommend getting in store so you can try on diff sizes to see what’s best or just order your normal size and one down. These def don’t run big, so I don’t understand those reviews
