I bought the black on white Recife. I think it's beautiful and well made. I usually wear size 6, and this fits me well. I would love to keep it, however, I find the leather too stiff for my comfort. I don't want to take the chance of having blisters and unnecessary callus. I still give it a 4 star because of how beautiful it looks.

I bought these sneakers for walking around Disney. I wore them every day for 5 days and walked 9+ miles per day. They were very comfortable and suited their purpose. I love the rose gold accents. It makes them look a little fancier than your average sneaker. Then only downside is the length of the velcro straps. when closed they only cover half the velcro. It looks funny and gets caught on the pant legs of my jeans. For this reason I would not recommend. I am going to try a similar style with laces.

This shows are really beautiful and comfortable. The only issue they have is that, in my opinion, they have a basic design flaw. The Velcro straps are too short, specially the middle and the upper ones. This means that when you close the show there is a piece of white not covered by the beautiful golden strap. And my feet are normal to narrow. For sure a bummer but I still like the shoes so I kept them. So, if your feet are wide this show will not be the best choice.
I hate tying shoelaces and when I saw these, I was sold immediately. I have another pair of lace Veja’s which are comfortable and was confident these would be too, and, they are!! I have a normal foot width and at first the velcro didn’t fully fold over to cover the base of the velcro but after a few wears they did. I get a lot of compliments on this style. Love that they are easy to put on, snap, and go. Oh and the best part is you don’t have to worry about washing laces and re-lacing!
I love Veja sneakers - I have two other pairs already. These were just simply stunning sneakers. I ended up returning them because I have a high arch and I didn't get the sneakers' velcro to pull all the way over. But otherwise they were comfortable and gorgeous.
This is my second pair of VEJA’s and I love these. The Velcro is so easy on and off and they are so comfy. The Velcro for me is not short and I have a slightly larger top foot. They do fit a tiny bit larger. I wear a 9 and bought 9 but I knew this from my other pair but I wear thicker no show socks. This style sells out quickly so I was happy to get these
These are definitely are part of my top ten purchases. They are so fashionable and fit true to size. I need a slightly bigger foot bed, more room for my toes 😁. These fit perfectly and also provide the arch support needed for all day wear. These look great with jeans, shorts, skirts and even dresses. Perfect for all seasons.
I read the reviews on this product about how the velcro doesn't close all the way and they are correct, it does not. I think though that the wearer notices that way more than anyone else would. I also think that is likely by design because the leather will stretch in width so you will be able to pull the straps further as you wear them and if you didn't have extra velcro available it wouldn't stick. I did size down but I felt they were comfy and looked nice!
I own other very comfortable styles of Vejas and was excited to get these. They are like walking on a board. No cushion hardly at all. They are also wider than I would like. The fit reminded me Adidas Shells. I wish they were more narrow and had the same cushion as my other Vegas.
