I bought this for video - the manual focus version doesn't have electronic contacts so EXIF and gyro metadata wont pass to the camera unfortunately. I really wish I knew this before buying as I like using the Sony Catalyst Gyro Stabilization. The FOV is insane and is great for stadium interior shots and also huddle shots in sports. The manual focus ring is very nice as well. When object come close to the lens it appears as though its 3D.Aperture ring is not Declickable. At 10mm, the lens can actually be difficult to use but its a very fun lens to use and can create shots that were previously impossible. Having the 77mm filter thread is a game changer when used on bodies that don't have internal ND.

I bought the manual lens, RF mount, 14 blade aperture, which I use with a Canon EOS R5.My copy arrived last Saturday so on Sunday I went to downtown Tampa to try it with some architecture photos.Image and build quality are excellent, and distortion is very little and easy to fix in Lightroom or ACR (if I compare this with the EF 16-35 f2.8 II L, the EF 16-35 f4.0 L, and the Sigma 14mm f1.8 ART, the Laowa is a clear winner in this department). Chromatic aberration is very little and also easy to fix in LR. Of course there is vignetting which you can correct manually.I enjoyed the fact that if you stop down aperture to f8.0, you have everything in focus between 60cm (2 feet) and infinity, which makes it a very fun lens to use in the street. This lens has surpassed my expectations.100% recommended.Versatile and amazing optic. If you are familiar with MF you will definitely love and enjoy this art piece. In the hands of a creative person this lens is a bomb!!
This little guy is small, kind of hearer but takes wonderful clean flat images from edge to edge. nice colors and crisp detail. worth the $$, I would get it again. If you are looking for a manual wide angel lens that does not break, this is a great option.
