If I was asked to present the mid 80's in a single bottle, although there are of course many others of renown, none compares to this. The potent lemon oil at first spray is that of the first Boucheron's, the mossy greens are that of those 80's chypre's that hang almost damp in the air. The hint of barbershop lavender is as if whipped into a cream of sandalwood and rose, and finally the wallop of musk that in the original was a bone dry oak moss that actually caught in your throat, now tamed. Yes, reformulated. Yes, still a masterpiece.

An excellent classic men's fragrance.

Versace L'Homme is a beautiful masculine, warm, woody aromatic scent. It is a classic barbershop scent of the 1980s and is still very wearable and able to garner compliments today. The opening is great and catches my attention with strong wood and moss elements tampered with patchouli and the labdanum bringing it together and giving it some warmth. There is a soapie accord in the opening that gives a very nice clean feel. As Versace L'Homme begins to dry down the soapiness gives way to a more leather scent with some nice herbal elements.

Don’t buy

This was a fake! Walmart sometimes acquires products from third party sellers. I suspect they’ve done this with cologne. On three separate occasions now I’ve received counterfeit cologne or bottles that are less than half full. Be careful!Walmart’s quality assurance is becoming garbage.

Fresh for hours!

A fantastic lemony fresh smell that lasts.With most fragrances the top notes fade very quickly and only the base notes remain on the skin but this Versace bucks the trend and remains fresh smelling for hours. The mid/base notes are a bit musky and woody and I think there is some tonka bean in there also but I may be mistaken. I am not a fragrance expert. This is a classic fragrance having been introduced around 1986 but in my view it is not dated at all and still worth buying today.. Can be worn during the day or evening, smart dressed or casual. Great stuff! I love it and my wife does too!

Misleading Description etc.

Incorrect item sent. Picture, description and price reduction on the website all referred to Versace Pour Homme. Instead I was sent the cheaper Versace L'Homme. Returned to my local store for a refund but very disappointed by the experience and inconvenience. Having asked around, it seems that numerous other people have had the same issue.

Product received is different to product displayed

I appreciate this isn't a product review but I received Versace L'Homme (a different fragrance) rather than the Versace Pour Homme displayed on the website. The product name, description and image need to be changed. Returned for refund. I'm far from being an eco-activist but when I think about how many people might have ordered this in the recent sale, the waste of resources all round is significant.

My first purchase is 40 almost years ago and have used it exclusively since then. It's not available in my country so I have relied on stopovers in Dubai to stock up. No such trips these past couple of years.Having discovered that online retailers carried it, I tried my luck with FragranceX, which had good reviews. Was happy with the experience and have stocked up with a dozen bottles. Convenient, reliable and considerably less expensive than Dubai Duty Free.Help keep it in production!

Versace after shave knock off garbage product

This is one of the worst Colognes ever. The product is garbage snd cheap, it smells like after shave. Do not buy this product. I had to return it for a full refund. Smells like after shave. Product probably is an after shave yet it says Cologne lol stay away and buy the real Versace.
