Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue Mini EDT Spray by Versace
Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue by Versace, Every man should have a blue fragrance on his bureau. Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue is an excellent option for a fresh, everyday scent. The opening features grapefruit, Calabrian bergamot, fig leaf, and water notes. These top notes provide a bright splash of delicious citrus. The heart, with middle notes of patchouli, ambroxan, violet leaf, papyrus, and black pepper, brings in a warmer, spicier tone. The dry down is delightfully, unexpectedly fougere with base notes of tonka bean, musk, incense, and saffron. This is a long-lasting fragrance with the staying power to take you through the day. Gianni Versace debuted his eponymous fashion house in 1978. Originally the house focused on high-end women's wear, but they soon grew to include men's fashions, accessories, and perfume. Today the house is run by Gianni's sister Donatella and his brother Santo. They continue to focus on luxurious apparel, fragrances, and other lifestyle items.

As a woman who typically leans towards more masculine fragrances in the unisex category, I often find women's perfumes to be too overwhelming and syrupy-floral, often causing me headaches and nausea. However, I am absolutely in love with Dylan Blue. One spritz of this fragrance initially exudes a more masculine vibe, but it gradually transitions to a soft yet alluring scent. It strikes a perfect balance between being present without being overpowering. The fragrance is both bright and citrusy, with hints of pepper and spice, which I find particularly appealing. I just can't get enough of the scent and can't help but keep smelling myself when I wear it.

Firstly, it smells good. Don't get me wrong. I don't know if I'd buy it though. If it were gifted to me I'd wear it on occasion. It's a citrusy/ambroxan scent. I only have these two samples and I try it from time to time, but it's nothing that strikes me enough to go out and buy it. It comes across like a B-rated Bleu De Chanel mixed with Sauvage - both of which are better than this. If you've never smelled either of the aforementioned then you'd probably like this a lot. If you started with Bleu and Sauvage then you may be left a little disappointed with this. Again, it's not bad by any means and I do think it smells even better than Aventus and some of those overrated scents, but it's not my go-to. This is a test-before-you-buy scent. I loved it when I first smelled at a Sephora store, I couldn’t realize what is the note that make this fragrance unique and so particular. This scent represents for me together with the line of Blu Mediterraneo by Acqua di Parma and Light Blueline by DG the smell and feel of the beautiful Italian Mediterranean Sea. Here the aquatic tones dominate, which complement the citrus essences of the grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot. Suddenly you can hear delicate notes of patchouli and spicy incense. All this makes this a masculine, fresh, clean scent that is good to wear not only in summer but also on colder days thanks to the spicy warm notes of patchouli and incense.

This fragrance is very versatile, you can basically wear it anytime anywhere. It’s has an earthy citrusy smell, which I personally love. I’ve been wearing it as my everyday signature scent for the past couple summer months and it pulls in great attention. It can definitely be worn in any season besides the summer but I prefer other scents for winter. Another great thing about this fragrance is that it’s pretty affordable compared to other designer scents. Overall, this is an amazing scent, not offensive or too heavy, just nice and clean smelling.
Dylan blue seems to get a lot of hate from fragrance snobs and I can't understand why. This could possibly be the perfect everyday fragrance regardless of your age or what time of the year it is. Supremely versatile as it is fresh enough for the high heat, strong enough for the cooler months and perfect for everything else inbetween. Smells fresh and reminiscent to Blue De Chanel EDT for me. There's never a bad time to smell like Dylan Blue and it's one that the ladies absolutely love so if you're after compliments, Dylan Blue is definitely for you. I can't see anyone disliking this fragrance and is definitely blind buy safe. Not only is the scent fantastic but it has performance to match. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whether they're new to fragrances or just looking for an everyday scent that the masses will love and make you feel confident whilst wearing.
This fragrance is like a modern classic with a twist of coolness. Picture this: the first spritz hits you with a burst of citrus and aquatic vibes – like a splash of energy. As it hangs out, you start to sense those herbal and woodsy notes – it's like a stroll through a stylish garden. I've worn it for big nights out and even just when I'm in the mood for a bit of extra flair. And the best part? It sticks around, like a good friend who's there for the long haul. The bottle's design is sleek and edgy, totally nailing the vibe. So, if you're all about scents that blend casual and classy, Versace Dylan Blue is your go-to. It's like adding a touch of sophistication to your day, every day.
What can I say about this to give it justice? I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. From the almost dark citrusy open to the floral/ambroxen mid and into the incense saffron dry down...amazing. My signature scent and one my wife actually approves of, which is enough for me. This has become one, for me, that I will forever have in my collection. This one does have the characteristics to bring about anosmia but trust me the scent is still out there. On my skin it projects nice for around 2 hours or so and becomes a closer scent, not necessarily a skin scent but not beastly either. On clothes it stays a lot longer and I'll catch whiffs of it on and off for 6-8 hours after it kind of dies down. IMO it's phenomenal stuff, blind buy safe and I highly recommend for any ... MoreWhat can I say about this to give it justice? I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. Versace Dylan Blue is a amber and citrus fragrance for men. This cologne is best for all seasons. It is very versatile and suitable for everyday use. Versace dylan blue has a very great price for the scent. For me this fragrance lasts a while. I only gave 4 stars for this because after wearing for a while i start to not notice the scent as much and it doesn’t smell as when you first try it out. The scent gets boring and it is not unique or original. This fragrance has top notes of bergamot, water, and grapefruit. Middle notes of ambroxan, black pepper, patchouli, violet, and papyrus. This colognes base notes are musk, tonka bean, and saffron. I recommend this cologne to anyone who wants an amber and aquatic fragrance. Versace has some very good cologne. This designers Pour Homme and the Eros line, are nothing short of extraordinary. Yet it screwed up in 2016. The blue wave of colognes were already established, and they dumped this on an already saturated market. Actually it’s amusing quite a few fragrance “experts” on YouTube swear by this, as I choose to swear at it. Point blank it deserves no hype. Yes you can find it at discounters, but who knows how old? Nautica Voyage at $20 to )25 is far better. You’re probably thinking, that’s a lot of vitriol. That’s correct. When a company known for quality delivers a dog rocket, I choose to tell it as is. Dylan Blue is a nice name, that sounds trendy and relaxed. Yet this EDT is a dumpster fire. It tries to be blue shower gel stuff, but it fails absolutely. This weak performer should be thrown out. I can smell the cheap synthetic bergamot, grapefruit, and aquatic notes. Yet supposedly this has fig, violet leaf, black pepper, papyrus, musk, tonka bean, saffron, and frankincense. Where the heck are they? Okay I will say if you sniff like a coke addict, you might be able to detect the pepper slightly. Otherwise it’s a dull shower gel scent, that might work for high school guys. No offense to them, as my recommendation to them is go with Eros EDT. This doesn’t project at all. No scent trail to speak of. All you have is the fake bergamot, grapefruit, and some aquatic pepper combination. What on earth is this supposed to accomplish? It’s flat out boring. There’s nothing distinctive or redeeming about it. Like I said go with Nautica if on a budget, as it’s less than this, and it actually performs. I don’t understand how Versace could fail so miserably. Also I don’t know why this is rated so highly. Skeptical by nature, I find this to be an inferior EDT. Even the big bottle is cheaply made. Don’t go with this one. It’s a waste of money, and doesn’t represent Versace like the other ones. A forgettable scent. I don’t like anything about it, and stand firm on saying no thanks.
If you like Bleu de Channel or Dior Sauvage you will like this fragrance! This is Sauvage without the overpowering spices + Bleu de Chanel freshness without the ginger. High quality, expensive, shower gel vibe. You can easily get this fragrance for $50 when it goes on sale. This Amber, citrus, aquatic scent can be used in all 4 seasons and in any occasion.
