Vicks Mini Cool Mist Humidifier

I got this 3 weeks ago and I’m glad I did. I like this fabulous mini cool mist ultrasonic humidifier which is so much easier to use than bowlfuls of steamy water, just fill up the tank (up to 1.8 litres) close it tight and put it back on top of the humidifier. There’s a drawer to put the Vicks soaked pads in, (there’s 2 in the box). Then turn the dial and you’re away. It’s quiet and you can direct the cold steam where you want. It has a long electrical cable with a 3-pin plug so it’s easy to place it where you need it. My 5 ur old has had a very dry cough, this humidifier has really been helping at night as it stops the air from being too dry, helping hersleep better and breathe easier, it’s definitely helping and I’m sleeping better too with my mouth feeling less ... MoreI got this 3 weeks ago and I’m glad I did. Humidifiers are good for your skin too. It’s safe to use as it will automatically turn off when the water runs out, up to 8 hours on a full tank. It’s easy to clean the tank, a quality item that’s easy to use.

This mini humidifier, is not really mini, it’s actually quite large. It isn’t compact, I found it quite hard to find somewhere to put it. You are not meant to put it on wood surfaces, or uneven surfaces.It’s fairly straightforward to use, take the top off using the handle, turn upside down and put cool tap water in. The screw top lid needs to be secured and checked for drips before it’s put on. When you put the top on the base, water will go into the base.You are meant to disinfect the humidifier before it’s first use. Once done you can use. There is a little slot to put the vapopad in, this is simple to do but you shouldn’t touch it which can be a bit tricky.It’s very quiet when it is on, the top can be moved around which is really good. The unit needs cleaning every 3 days if used all the time, otherwise it needs to be emptied after each use as you can’t move it with water in it.It does what it’s supposed to do, my kids have colds currently and it’s helped them a lot.The biggest downfall of this for me is the size, it’s too big to just put somewhere. I wish it was a bit smaller, I really wouldn’t class it as mini.Would I recommend it? Yes I would because it does actually work. I think despite the size it is a good humidifier and that’s the main thing.

I'm so happy I purchased this for the baby's room. Now that cold and flu season is upon us, my little fella ended up with a cold that caused him to have coughing spells and a stuffy nose. This mini humidifier certainly helped to alleviate his cough and cold symptoms.I bought 2 packs of the vapopads which added some relief through the fine mist. The scents are very mild, yet effective. Being able to control the level of mist that comes out of the humidifier helps to define the length of time the humidifier will run before becoming empty. My baby sleeps for 12 hours at night and I found we still had plenty of water in the unit by morning.This mini humidifier runs silently. It is easy to fill up and easy to clean.I would definitely buy another for a differnt room.
