Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer With Nightlight #V150 1.5 Gallon

I got this because I experience late night allergies Every night around 1-3am, I am constantly sneezing. I knew this wouldn’t stop by allergies all together I was hoping for maybe just some help when I purchased it…. I didn’t realize how expensive it would be to constantly keep it running. For one you have to change the water if not every night every two nights. And then use the vapor liquid drops…they cost about $15 a bottle and I would say if you use it everyday it will last about 2 weeks. If you stretch it maybe a month. It definitely cleans the air you can also smell the vapor rub smell very strong which I love. I recommend putting it on an elevated surface and not the floor. Something like a table or nightstand. I absolutely love Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer! I remember when being sick as a child, and my grandmother rubbing the Vicks Vapor Rub on my chest. Which I've now done to my children a couple of times till I discovered this jewel. One of the best things about this vaporizer is the medicine cup which allows you to add Vicks VapoPads or liquid inhalants for added relief, making it easier than rubbing gel on your chest. The added night light is a great bonus feature as well, providing more comfort for the little ones scared of the dark. It also has an automatic shut off when the water reacher down to a certain level. Vicks has been a trusted brand in our family for years, and will continue to be!! Great to Add to Your Sickness-Beating Arsenal!

What a great add to my medicine closet! With so much crud going around and two young kids (aka germ magnets) at home, I’m always watching for something that will help us kick the crud when it inevitably comes around.I’ve always found the smell of Vicks super comforting whenever I had something going on so the ability to combine it with a warm steam humidifier is brilliant.I like that you can adjust the intensity of the scent depending on the number of cartridges you put in and the amount of steam by adding salt. With that being said it puts out a great scent and steam.It is not something I would have set up in my room at all times but rather just pull it out whenever I’m under the weather. During night time they would toss and turn and can get comfortable. However, Vicks Warm Steamer is the best thing that ever happened to me. I can turn it on at night and my family will be able to sleep and breathe comfortably throughout the night. They get a good rest and wake up happy the next morning. I was super excited to get this super simple Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer! I absolutely needed this product right when I was able to get it! I had been so sick and had been having trouble with a respiratory cold and you have no idea how much of a blessing this product was to receive. Truly, this stuff works very well. You also can use a nighttime lavender scent which helps me rest a bit better at times when it's needed. This product is really great because of it's ease of use, bigger size water container and the fact that it works so well.You honestly cannot beat a great product that works this well and is from such a great brand as Vicks. We all already know and love their other products and I know that you'll this one as well. It truly works and helps so much.

I am very pleased with this vaporizer! I wasn’t sure how well it would work because I have always used a cool mist humidifier when my daughter was sick, but she has had a sinus infection this last week and this helped SO much! When I first plugged it in there was no steam, then I added a tiny bit of salt and within a minute it was going good. I left it on for a few hours and it really steamed up the room! She didn’t cough or wake up once! I am amazed! I have used it the last 3 nights and she is feeling so much better! The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because I wish it had an on and off switch! I don’t like that in order to turn it off I have to just unplug it. This humidifier was much larger than I expected! Filling the water to the max line produces steam that lasts a long time. Downside is that I can't place it on my nightstand because of the size, so it has its own little table. The machine produces a steady flow of warm steam. It is quiet and the light on it is dim enough that it doesn't cause a disturbance in sleep. However, I do wish that the light was red instead of green. The biggest problem I had with the machine is the locking mechanism, if the machine was to fall over it would spill everywhere because it doesn't have a tight lock. The instructions are clear to read, I was surprised that the use of salt is needed to produce steam.
