I purchased two Victorinox Alliance watches (241712.1 - silver and 241711.1 - blue) and it was a nightmare purchase for myself and the other person who I gifted one.I've owned many watches over the years and have never come across one with a design defect where the clasp is so sensitive that it unbuckles itself with the slightest wrist movement. It is not an isolated incident as the other person was also experiencing the same problem.Long story short, the watch clasps were replaced however, upon receiving back the watches, the same issue occurred.If you thinking of buying this, you'll have a beautiful watch but the downside is that you cannot wear it.

He did seal those with Victorinox multitool oil and I'am not quite sure whether it was a good or bad thing to do...Anyway, I totally recommend the watch and absolutely love mine. If Victorinox would would offer this same color scheme with an automatic movement - I'd immediately buy that as well.

Bought this watch a couple years ago for work. Durable and classy, no issues, just need to replace the battery once.
Purchasing these items separately costs less. I never got to actually buy a new watch from them. I had a code that Swiss Army chose to give me crap over using although it was a military code that they claimed to respect and accept, not to mention they provided it. Every time I get ready to buy something from them, I consider the crap they put me through.
I don’t know I am wearing it, and feels and look well made. The leather strap is good quality.
