I've been through many charge controllers in my time, but this one has been the most efficient one so far. I have used cheap ones and expensive ones. One of the main issues with the cheap ones is that they shutdown if the voltage varies too much. The Bluetooth function has been very useful in tracking my battery levels. I'm looking at possibly upgrading many of my other controllers with these.

The manual is a joke . No one can read it. I think if the could have made any smaller the would have. The Bluetooth on my phone connection is intermittent at best. I've asked the question what's the port on the bottom for. Is it for the remote display ? Who knows...

Being able to see how your battery is charging at what voltage and amps makes a big difference compared to the pwm I was using.Both this product to scale my limited setup at a later stage, would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to go solar

Was not what I expected. My search was for a 48 volt charge controller. The result was a 75/10. One of the options was a 100/15. Since I wanted the flexibility to use 4 12 volt panels. Some of the options were only 12/24 volt. Don't assume the listed options on Home Essentials Direct meet your search results. I can use it on a different project. Wanted to solar charge my Golf Cart. Built in bluetooth is great. Nice information on the android app.
