I've just spent hours trying to get this thing together. It might look lovely on the photo but nothing fits. The bamboo are all different sizes, nothing fits together and finally, the material, the easiest thing to get right doesn't fir either. It's too short. Definitely not worth the money! DO NOT BUY THIS!

Beware! This is very difficult to assemble. You will need a lot of patience, some strength, and a rubber mallet. You'll also need a friend. But its so frustrating, that you may end up hitting the friend on the head with the rubber mallet. So maybe don't ask your very best friend. Once its assembled it looks pretty good. But I would not buy this again.

Particularly difficult to assemble, hardly stable. Suggest finding alternative room divider.

This room divider looks good but it's extremely difficult to assemble. The instructions are useless because they don't give you the order in which to assemble. What I think is the process (by going off the picture instructions) doesn't work. When attempting to insert one piece another piece comes out. The screws don't go in easily to the point of extreme pressure, my hands get swollen. I'm yet to assemble this even after several attempts. I'm now trying one panel at a time completing each with screws. Oh yes, you need a hammer and one piece had a large crack in the bamboo.
I would give this ZERO stars if I could. Beautiful concept if you like the natural look, but horrible design and next to impossible to assemble. All the bamboo in the pictures look straight and well-fitting. However, the pieces were not cut exact, holes not drilled evenly, the fabric bands came with some of them glued together so divider doesn't open and close easily (instead, the stiffness from the glue causes sections to snap back), and many of them were dirty. All around disaster. If my son and I hadn't spent a ridiculous amount of time hammering (with a mallet) the cross bars and sweating through the entire process, this thing would go back!!
