These chairs are a great value. Very comfortable and the backs are easily adjustable. I dinged it for quality because it appears a lower grade of teak is used and the finish is a bit rough. I ordered 4 chairs and one had a crack where one of the verticals on the back meets a horizontal on seat. It was easily repaired with wood glue and a clamp. Having said that, I'm satisfied with the chairs and would buy them again.

Another one is also about to break, and no one has even sat in it yet. These are very poorly constructed with just a bit of glue. I would not let a guest use these chairs out of concern for their safety. These are junk.

The front legs are too far back so the chair tips forward easily --- especially if a child is on it and tried to get off. Could cause nasty accidents. The wood is not great quality either --- it doesn't look like the rest of the teak we have. Having said that - it is cheap so perhaps that's to be expected.
These are high quality chairs. They were carefully packed for shipment to ensure they were received in excellent condition. When you purchase the 4-pack you will pay around $30 per chair. You wont find anything, anywhere, of this quality for that price. Very satisfied with the purchase and they look great surrounding my newly built fire pit. They fold easily for easy storage.
These chairs are comfortable, a good height, and feel solid. They need a little work to be perfect. I ordered a set of four. Two were perfect, one needed some leveling, and one had a small split in the wood that needed glueing and clamping. No big deal. These chairs are Unfinished!! You should oil/seal them for best looks and care. You can see that one coat of Messmers UV oil really makes them pop! Overall, for the price, it's a good buy, and with some effort, they really shine.
They all needed tightening up with an allen key, and enjoyed a coating of teak oil ! Have found that if you lean forward they tip you over - the centre of gravity is much further forward than you would expect ... They are adequate but not great - the arms are lower than comfortable and the seat is not generous enough .. could be made that bit bigger and be an absolute winner! Fairly disappointed given that at £50 per chair they were supposed to be nice ...
I rate at four stars as they are a little bit wobbly on the arm-rests so I don't know how long they will last. The quality of the wood seems fine and they are not too light, i.e. Reasonably robust. However, when one looks at the price of similar things in garden centres, one would be paying c 200% more, so if they last 5-10 years, they are a good deal. They work out no dearer than some "Hardwood" ones that one sees advertised, and are certainly more robust than those. I find them comfortable too.
I have searched for outdoor teak chairs for many years. I have purchased many teak chairs. Never have I found or purchased chairs with the quality of these teak chairs...and an absolute low price. The wood is excellent and every part fits perfectly - not a simple task for folding chairs. Packing and shipping could not have been better. I tripled my order after my initial one!
Two of six ordered chairs arrived incorrectly addressed. They were damp but in dry packaging, which leads us to think that they were damp when packed. The other four arrived a day later, also incorrectly addressed. The wood does not look like true teak to me. There was no discernable treatment to the surface; so they would not have survived outdoors without my wife and I spending a day and a half treating them with satin varnish. Nice chsirs when finished at some extra cost but not worth the money.
