vidaXL Storage Cabinet Black 80x35x101.5 cm Steel

It is a pretty nice unit. However they sent me miss matched doors and weren't able to correct the doors without me sending the whole thing back. Check your parts before putting together and you should be fine

Overall I was pleased with the final assembly, color and the way they look. However, the instructions are not that great. I’d give it a 7-10. The first unit took just over an hour to assemble. The second unit took about forty minutes, and the third 20 minutes. I put 3 units side by side and they fit perfectly in my space. One of the adjustable pieces on the bottom of a units leg would not go in. I even tried it in other legs and it went in, which meant that there was a defect in the thread of one leg. I added a felt pad on the leg to solve the problem. One of the units also had a couple of bent panels. Fortunately I was able to bend them back.

beautiful, perfect for my home gym storage but came with a small dent probably due to shipping. genuinely love this item regardless of the dent

I give it 4 stars for quality only because the instructions are so poor. There are no written instructions, and is unclear on multiple pages what the pictures represent. I had to drill holes for the door installation that were not present as in the photo. This might be because they were left out or because I misinterpreted the directions and placed a piece incorrectly on an earlier step. Overall, other than some frustration, I really like this piece a lot.

It's a time consuming assembly but not difficult. Take care during assembly not to bend or scratch. Note that, in order to use the anchor supplied for securing the unit to the wall to prevent tipping, the unit must sit flush against the wall. If you have a base board or shoe molding, you'll need to add a block of wood, equivalent in depth, behind the opening to anchor the unit. I bought this to use in our home gym. It looks great and I love the additional storage.

This cabinet is a perfect liquor cabinet! The assembly was a bit rough since the images on the directions were so small!

A very useful cupboard in

A very useful cupboard in a funky colour. The item was carefully packaged in a corrugated box with polystyrene and sheets of soft plastic between each piece. I laid everything out on the opened box and put all the screws in piles. Nothing missing. I wore cotton gloves when assembling it so as not to leave finger marks on the powder coating. The assembly instructions are like IKEA, just pictures. Do read them carefully and work out which piece is which. Take your time. The pieces are very similar. It took me one hour to assemble it on my own. I used an electric screwdriver. You could easily use a manual one. Don’t overtighten the screws or you’ll bend the metal. The doors have magnetic catches which hold them shut securely. The item is supplied with rawl plugs and screws to secure it to the wall, a great idea if you have young children. The mesh at the front is very good looking but will allow dust into the cabinet. That’s not a problem though, just an observation. The shelves are adjustable at one centimetre intervals. Very handy for personalised storage. I love this cabinet. It is perfect for my needs. It arrived a day early than anticipated and in perfect condition. Excellent value and stylish too.

Easy to assemble despite the

Easy to assemble despite the confusing instructions. Looks great. The metal is pretty thin, but the cabinet is solid and good value for the low cost.
