I just bought the Sephora Luxe Collection (which is amazing!!) and I was so excited to get a small bottle of Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb. I was so excited to try this because there hasn’t been a Flowerbomb fragrance I haven’t loved. Honestly, I was disappointed; I think I just expected too much. However, I still love this. It reminds me of a caramelized peach, in a bourbon caramel sauce, with homemade vanilla whipped cream. That sounds really sweet, and for a lot of people it might be, but compared to Nectar, it almost has a slight bitterness. I didn’t notice it until I wore Nectar and compared, so it doesn’t stand out. The longevity isn’t as good as the original or Nectar, but I would say it’s still better than a lot of EDPs out there. The projection and silage is the same….pretty good, but the original and Nectar have better. The best part is that the smell dissipates into the softest essence. I would feel comfortable wearing this in close quarters, as the scent is soft enough not to agitate other people in the vicinity. Some people dock points for this, but I love wearing a scent that comes off more as a soft trail, instead of occupying the entire room. They use the olfactory notes of Centifolia rose, jasmine, orchid, and osmanthus. There is nothing obnoxious or intrusive about the way this smells, and though titled “Flowerbomb,” this is not an overpowering or explosively strong fragrance. It is, however, filled with the intense aroma of a freshly cut and misted floral rose bouquet that is sensually addictive at the very least. A must-have!

The perfumed one smells more intense. I used the perfumed lotion on my chest when I wanted to still smell like flowerbomb but not too much on days I didn't want to use the actual perfume because this lotion still gives you the fragrance but it sits closer to the skin. I used the scented lotion on its own for a very subtle scent, but it does wear off faster. I also paired it with the perfume and it helped the perfume last longer and more strongly which is a bonus.This gift set is a great value for the price and I would definitely buy this as a gift, even if the gift is just for me lol

Having said all that, I would like to try the various flankers at some point to see if they're any more tolerable. But as far as the OG FB, it's an absolute NOPE.

Its definitely not your run of the mill scent and not like anything i've smelled before. It’s light with different floral notes that blend together so perfectly. Flowerbomb is such an appropriate name for it. Its pretty magical and quickly became one of my favorites. You can’t help but feel great and sexy with it on. The bottles are beautiful, and so is the packaging. I’d give this as a gift,and be happy to receive it. I do wish that it had 2 different scents in the set since the other Victor&Rolf’s fragrances Ive tested at Sephora also smelled amazing.But like I said I really love the FlowerBomb scent having 2 of these cute pretty little bottles for my perfume display and double the smell 1000% works for me too. Since I plan on wearing it all the time till these are gone I know I’ll end up buying more. Hopefully the next bottle the scent lasts longer on me. Gorgeous Jasmin scent. There's a lot of scent variation from person to person depending on how it sits on the skin. Luckily for me it's worked out wonderfully. If you don't like florals this won't be for you- if you do this has a very sophisticated and sexy floral scent. The body lotion and body cream are quite nice. Despite being scented they don't seem to later dry out my skin which happens frequently for me with bath and body works lotion. Cream is a little thicker, but as they work into the skin they have an almost identical texture. I would highly recommend getting a sample before commiting to the full size just in case it sits funny on your skin.
