So... full disclosure up front... I am 'domestically challenged'. That is, I hate cleaning in all it's forms and have previously been quite sniffy about anyone raving about cleaning products. However, the addition to the household of a seemingly continence-challenged new puppy meant that I eventually had to give in and purchase a new mop. The little things like the tiny hole in the top of the mop head for the water to drain out of, the satisfyingly perfect fit of the mop to the drainer thingy, the gratifyingly solid whoosh sound as you press down on the foot pedal and the thingy spins out, shooting out the excess water back into the bucket... awesome. Let alone that the floor gets really clean really quickly and was completely dry again in less than 10 minutes. Sad to say - and I'm ashamed to admit it - but I've been mopping the floor twice a day since. Not just because I have to - damn puppy! - but because it is a genuinely satisying experience. So sorry about the longest mop review ever, but I actually cannot recommend this product enough, it is genuinely awesome.

Well worth paying out for something that works well. And if you have lower back problems its perfect too. You can always replace the old mop head part just pull it off snd click a new mop head back on. Simple and effective. I totally recommend it to not having a heavy filled mop that you cant wring out without tiring oneself out this is the ultimate mop cleaner it doesnt take up much space either.

What a wonderful machine. I have recommended it to a lot of people and they all love it. Make sure you buy this one though with the telescopic handle and the pouring lip.. One of my contacts purchased a cheaper vileda spinning mop and to be honest its a huge disappointment, its much lighter and flimsy, no telescopic handle and no pouring lip... But yup this one is the dogs rollocks.

I absolutely love this but am starting to worry seeing other reviews. I have had mine two months and so far so good. I like how the mop is flatter than a regular mop so it can get a bit more under the washing machine etc (for those like me who are still living in the past without a fully integrated kitchen) The pedal to dry the mop off before use is a great feature and even better for when putting the mop away. As far as a mop goes it cleans as well as any mop like this. You can also detach and put it in the wash which I haven't done yet. I think it's a lot better for the environment than the new 'mops' where you are using wipes as the mop so it gets extra marks for that. Old school product with a fancy spinner wins for me.
This is the best mop ever! The mop spins as dry as you like so the floor isn't sodden when washed. The mop head gets into every corner easily. It takes far less time than my old mop to wash and dry the floor and it's never looked so good afterwards. I cannot fault it. Brilliant product.

I know why this is called a smart mop. Not because it has electronics, but the user is smart to use it. I have used smart mops for years. The first lot broke down. Then Vileda came into the market. I bought one, that we have used for over 7 years. In the end, the stick gave up, so I bought a new one. So, I'll be using this new one for the next 7 years. That is smart!
Absolutely brilliant! As a disabled pensioner I no longer had the strength to squeeze out the mop - the turbo foot pedal has made mopping my floor so much easier now. Well done Vileda and Well Done Robert Dyas for selling it at the most reasonable price. Delighted!!
I have an elderly and sick dog who often has "accident's" and the old mop and bucket was such a pain to use. The floor took so long to dry and trying to wring out the mop was difficult This mop is so easy to use, the bucket is lightweight, the mop head spins almost dry, it takes no time now to clean up after my poorly dog. I recommend this product to everyone, especially to older ones, or ones with arthritic hands who may struggle with the older galvanised type of bucket and mop. The Vileda really is an excellent product.
