I have previously owned Vileda's other spray mop. This feels better in my hands, has a solid spray grip and uses small amounts of diluted, self-selected floor cleaner. I am a little less happy with the velcro fastenings on this model, as the mop pad tends to slip off after consecutive uses. This can cause some scratching of vinyl and floor boards. I do, however love the flip action of the pads and the fact that the gap in the pad allows you to easily mop around chair legs etc.

This product is absolute garbage and Bunnings should stop selling it. The water bottle leaks because the vacuum rubber valve comes adrift in the water bottle, this I glued into place. The pole linkage is weak and broke in two months which I repaired with home made metal linkages . The pad assembly becomes detached from the frame and a complete pain. Do not buy this inferior product. I tried to contact the manufacturer and point out their rip off price and garbage product but to no avail

I’d give it zero if i could. It’s wrecked my laminate floorboards, it expels too much water making them bubble. Just a forwards/backwards motion leaves massive puddles. I’ve had another brand of spray mop in the past which was flimsy so i thought this time around i’d buy something more sturdy. Big mistake - my floors are ruined.

The easy fill water bottle prevents leaks, and enables me to use my preferred cleaning product. The fine mist spray is easy to use, and the mop is super light weight so even my toddler could help out.I love that the mop has a 180 degree flip so I could get all those stubborn spots, and gets rid of 99% of bacteria.It’s a great mop all round!
I was given this mop to trial and I absolutely loved it. You don't need to bother with buckets and mess, just fill a bottle that attaches to the head and away you go! The fabric on the mop has little abrasive patches to get rid of those stubborn spots. It flips-i used one side for cleaning and the other for drying. It's machine washable which makes it good for the environment. It collapses really small, I just keep it down the side of my fridge. As a mum of little ones making messes, I love that I can just whip this out for a quick clean when I need it!
Absolutely love this mop! Life with a toddler is super messy, and often means cleaning lots of spills! The Vileda Promist Mac Flip Spray Mop has cut down time and water wastage! No more lugging a heavy bucket around! I have also reduced the amount of chemicals and cleaning products as the tank only requires a small amount of soap to give amazing results! Even my 10 year old offers to mop up! Perfect for spot cleans, or a full room clean! Best part of all, the head is machine washable!!
When we first bought this mop we thought it was the bees knees... until it started leaking. No matter what you do the cleaning solution+water ends up in puddles on the floor.. I'm sure if you have no pets or dependants, then this will be fine. But for mopping dirty floors I wouldn't recommend.
I purchased my mop about three years ago. Until now I have not encountered any issues. Lately, the trigger has lost tension and is floppy. Unfortunately, there is no way to dismantle the handle to see if it can be fixed.
The description sounds good however leaves out what happens after spraying the area you are about to clean and then moping it with the microfibre cloth provided.It results in a treated hardwood floor with marks everywhere it goes.Confirmed this by using another brand and did not have the same issue, sadly I think it has to do with the microfibre provided as it is not absorbent and the water just gets moved around resulting in an extremely unhappy user.Good concept but a product that failed to deliver for me.
I got this mop with the high hope that it'd help my day to day life much quicker. Unpacked it and used it once... seemed amazing... but i had only done a small patch so when i came back to it the next day, i was heartbroken to find it wouldn't work. Squeeze the trigger.... nothing feeds through just water leaking out on the canister all over the floor.. googled reviews after this and found MANY people have this problem... wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
