Better than the plastic ones..
This scooter was definitely faster than my 13 y/o nephews previous when he was younger. The adult larger wheels made it go faster and it was enjoyed by the whole family - mom & dad (scooters max weight capacity is 250 lbs) AND 6 y/o brother! Now, the 6 y/o wants to upgrade his little wheels scooter for this one! Plus, the scooter is collapsible and can be taken on holidays. Im so happy I bought this!!!
