With help of B&H tech support we determined in would not be recognized by my nikon zfc. They recommend I send it back. So I did and bought a flash for my camera.

I've had about 3 viltrox adapters to various systems over the years. Viltrox is horrid at updating firmware in my experience. This is the last time.
With help of B&H tech support we determined in would not be recognized by my nikon zfc. They recommend I send it back. So I did and bought a flash for my camera.
The latest firmware for this adapter was released more than a year ago and it is not compatible with any of the newer models / firmware versions. Older camera firmware had some issues controlling the lens aperture but on the newer version the lenses are not even recognized.
I can auto focus and control the aperture of my canon and sigma lenses with this adapter. So far it works as expected
I wanted this adapter for the MP-E 65mm and it works flawlessly. I have yet to test the auto focus capabilities of this adapter.It looks very well constructed and lens information is recorded properly.
