The system that I purchased and received was just as advertised. The package came with everything that I needed to have installed. I did purchase the hardwire kit at a later date and took everything to my local car stereo shop and they installed my A 129 Pro dash cam in a matter of 50 minutes. Customer service is excellent as well and is very fast to respond to questions and/or concerns, especially with the delayed shipping (wasn't their fault). I am very satisfied with BlackboxMyCar and the A129 I purchased and definitely recommend this product!

I love the easy access to features like snapshot, switch view and pip (when viewed from my cell phone). The menu is much easier to use than the Thinkware cam with attached view screen I once owned. I used tip from another reviewer to use industrial strength velcro (see attached pics) to attach the cams. Wiring the cameras into the car’s fusebox was also relatively straightforward, but get the circuit tester if you don’t already have one. It makes identifying always-on vs. ignition-switched a snap.My only complaints—and these are minor nits—are mostly software issues.The hardwire kit cable has a cylindrical ferrite bead near the connector, which makes it impossible (in my case) to hide that part of the cable—the bead won’t fit in the seam where I would otherwise stuff it.Connecting to the camera from the iOS app requires enabling WiFi on the dash cam each time, and stopping the current recording. I’d love to be able to launch the iOS app and have it connect to the camera without having to jump through these extra hoops.The other oddity that I haven’t really tracked down yet is that recordings using the H.265 codec play fine on my phone, but won’t play correctly when transferred to a computer. On the computer various apps appear to be playing around 1fps (maybe just showing keyframes?). I have yet to find an app that will interpret these files correctly—Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, QuickTime player—apps that otherwise understand and support H.265. The only way I’ve found to get usable H.265 files from the phone to the computer is to import them into iMovie on the phone and re-export them. (All of this could probably be avoided by setting the camera to use H.264 instead.)Again, these are minor nits and overall I’m happy with the VIOFO.
I'm super happy with this dashcam and the efficient online purchasing process.I drive a 2016 Mazda 3.Everything I needed to install the cam was included, even the plastic tool to tuck the usb cable into the trim.I like that I never need to remove the camera, everything can be controlled by the app over wifi. I had no problem connecting the cam to my phone, and the UI is decent enough so that downloading files is no big deal.The clarity of the output is very good, though my eyes aren't the best. Haven't had to use it yet, but that's inevitable.I also appreciate the fast order delivery.Finally, there is a wealth of FAQ, Youtube, and learning guides available on www.blackboxmycar.com if you need some intel. Please don't buy this camera. My wife bought this camera and I liked it so I bought one also. At first mine was working fine for 3 weeks, and my wife's was working good for over a month. When hers started having issues we tried everything to fix it but it wasn't connecting to my hone nor recording. We called Amazon so that they can refund for her but the 30 day warranty was expired. We contacted VIOFO customer service and they sent us another one. By that time I had already returned mine and I got my refund back. I purchased another brand VAVA Dual Dash Cam and gave it to my wife and I used the new VIOFO camera sent by them. After 2 months now it stopped working again not recording and not connecting to my phone again. Please don't waste your money on this.
I bought this dash camera and the cell link neo from BBMC and they have been very helpful in making me decide what dashcam to buy. The footage quality on this dashcam is very great in situations I've been. However, my only problem is with the app. Sometimes it won't let me connect to the wifi, and other times it connects to the wifi but the viofo app doesn't recognize the camera while the camera does recognize a device has connected to its wifi. I am on the latest firmware (v2.4) but when viofo releases a new update, I'll try to update it. I also believe that the extra cost for 4K is worth it for the extra detail it provides. I really liked my previous Blackvue 590W (front only), but the VIOFO 129 Pro with it's 4K resolution is a step up without breaking the bank. The Blackvue worked fine with 64GB memory but 4K files are larger so I recommend 128GB memory. I personally went with 256GB and am happy with that decision.This is the second camera in three years I have purchased from BlackBoxMyCar and I highly recommend doing business with them. They have an excellent customer support team, the kind you don't see much any more. And they know the products they sell inside and out. This was important to me because I had prepurchase questions with both cameras, especially my first one; simply because I was new to dash cams. My first cam, the Blackvue, is still working OK. I just wanted to upgrade to the new 4K tech and add a rear camera for my new vehicle. I have no regrets with the upgrade.

The camera is awesome & easy to use & I can barely work my cell phone!! Lol Everytime I contacted BBMC for details I had a response within a day & they were always polite & helpful!!! My only complaint is there were 5 date changes from my original given date & the only reason I knew is I went to the website every few day to check if the date changed. I recommended they send an email for those, 1 day difference no biv deal but the 2nd change was by 21 days! Still can't complain!!! I even was able to purchase the extended warranty a few days after the i put in the order for the dash cam!!!
