I have had size or width issues with Vionic . But never bought ones that do not support my ankles . These look and feel like very cheap seconds that you’d buy in desperation in a market abroad to wear a couple for a couple of days too leave behind ,The inside of both shoes near the ankle are lower than the outside . I presume to look fashionable but fails miserably . They just look like odd seconds that someone is selling cheap . Only they are not cheap . I purchased the Stinson in white because of the non animal materials and the shoe is a dainty design which would have looked great with summer dresses.When I opened the box, one of the shoes had a scuffed mark on the outer part of the canvas. The scuff was nearly threadbare and looked unsightly. The photo I have included doesn't demonstrate the threadbare damage to the canvas.I usually wear EU size 35.5 - 36, depending on the style. I chose the Stinson in size 3 (36) thinking that there would be a little toe wriggle room for when feet swell during walks. The shoe felt tight and short in length for a size 3. The top of the back heel was quite stiff and uncomfortable when I tried them on. The representative also told me that this brand is one of their least supportive models so it looks cute but not supportive for walking around. I was looking for a lightweight, breathable pair of sneakers for the summer and these are perfect.Compared to Vionic's Brinley (the only other pair of sneakers I currently own from Vionic), the Stinson is much thinner; it feels like there isn't much between my foot and the ground. I think these will be far more comfortable when I get to walk in the sand later this summer rather than walking on concrete.I buy Vionic shoes because I have high arches and have found that having arch support has significantly reduced (just about eliminated) the shooting pain in my feet and legs and, as a bonus, helped my feet not to develop calluses as quickly as they used to. The Vionic Beach shoes are wonderful. As usual they are completely comfortable and nice colors. I now have Navy and Grey. Not a running or long walking shoe, just a casual summer shoe, that you can wear to the beach or do a quick errand in, and a short walk in the city or outdoors. Great.
I got the white ones to wear on vacations this summer with shorts and dresses. I got them because I have plantar fasciitis and my feet hurt . They were so light and comfortable, I averaged over 25k steps a day in them. There were cute too. The problem is they didn’t last. I packed them for three trips, Baltimore, Chicago and Scotland. Each time I returned from vacation they were dirty and I had to wash them as instructed. The first wash was fine, they came out like new. The second time they looked a bit grungy. I just washed them the third time and they are quite grubby and misshapen. The material is also wearing down on the bottom under the balls of my feet after walking on cobblestones for days. I have plantar fasciitis and a wide foot. It is extremely difficult to find shoes that will be comfortable and not aggravate the plantar fasciitis. I bought these shoes in May, and I have worn them out and it’s now July. Granted I do get 7 to 10,000 steps in a day. I was thrilled to see them go on sale for him off however they were already sold out in the wide and the colors that I wanted. I purchased a different pair that are very similar to the Stinson. They arrive today I have been wearing them although they are comfortable I do feel it aggravating my planter fasciitis so it’s not exactly what I need but I’m hoping that I will be able to wear them on and off throughout the fall season. I believe the name of these are prismos..
