This completely changed my heat and colour damaged hair! I have curly, frizzy, brittle, spilt ends, and extremely dry hair and I will never stop buying this and the matching conditioner. The price is definitely worth it!!! My hair did not grow for like 5 years and this not only fixed my hair problems, it also GREW IT!! I love the product. I bought the full shampoo/ conditioner, volume mousse and hairspray. First order went off without a hitch other than it takes them a long time to get product out. Second order I ordered from "spring cleaning sale" shampoo/ conditioner set, volume mousse and texturizing spray. I emailed them asking about the 6 day and still in processing of my order. The response was not friendly. (I had placed a 3rd order at same time) I got a response the next day as well as the shipment notice on the third order placed less than 24 hours prior. THEN i suddenly get shipping confirmation on the 2nd order I was inquiring about AND they ship 2 of the 3 items but still charged me for all items even tho not shipped. Not much of a sale that way. After a $74 bottle of their smooth shampoo slipped out of my hands and broke onto my shower floor I contacted virtual labs to see if they had any resolution. You would think spending the money that I have they would be happy to accommodate but I was told to go to Amazon or Target and buy a $10 pump bottle to put what’s left of my contents into. As if I could even get the shampoo out of the bottle. Positioning the broken shampoo bottle upside down into a container it took over a half hour for me to get the smallest amount of product out. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this shampoo solved one of my most irritating daily struggles. For a while, I’d been getting out of the shower and my scalp was still visibly oily and gross and I tried everything to fix it. I scrubbed my head with my old shampoo like they do at the salon, I used a blow dryer, I washed my hair every day. Nothing. The first time I used this, I was IMMEDIATELY relieved. I let my hair air dry and it felt weightless. I could touch my scalp and not feel a slick residue for the first time in weeks. I will use this shampoo forever, I’m so happy. This might sound like a really dramatic review but when you’ve been struggling to feel clean for a long time and you finally find something that works, it’s a big deal.

I have very mixed feelings about this shampoo and conditioner. I have fine, brittle, frizzy hair, and I am ready to splurge on hair care. I don’t feel this product is worth the price. Initially, the shampoo is very thick and I found it hard to really distribute it in my hair. The conditioner as well I had trouble saturating my hair with. Once I rinsed, I was really surprised by how my hair felt like straw and was more difficult to brush considering the hydrating claims. It did not feel nice. Once my hair was dry and I brushed it again, I was pleasantly surprised by how much my usual frizz was reduced and and my hair looked healthy, although it was a little heavier than usual. All things considered, there are cheaper options that perform just as well or better.
This is a beautiful formula! My hair has been falling out (due to age? Not sure, still trouble shooting), and my scalp is super sensitive. This is a low fragrance gentle formula that cleaned my hair well without stripping it, and left my curls in tact. I noticed less hair fall in the shower, and my scalp feels so nice! It did not itch more or get sore, and it didn’t cause flakes (sure sign of something not agreeing with me). Most shampoos don’t do anything great for my scalp and some really irritate it (even luxury and salon formulas), I’m starting to think this is my new favorite. If you have a sensitive scalp prone to dryness or flakiness, this is worth a try.Gifted by Virtue Labs.
I tried this 3 times before I had to return it. This absolutely STRIPS your hair and scalp, I felt it in the shower during my first use. After rinsing my strands felt awful and the conditioner did nothing to revitalise how dry it was.I tried it again with a hair oil to protect and then again with a few days in-between and realised its so drying and stripping its actually damaging my hair. My roommate gave it a go and also hated it and she has healthy shiny gorgeous locks. We both had to do intense mask treatments to get our hair back to what it was.Also like most Virtue products its SO full of fragrance/parfum and stinks too much. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

I rely on dry shampoo, hair spray and hair oil to get my hair through the week with two washes. My scalp and hair felt refreshed and cleansed from all of the product without stripping of moisture.This shampoo passed the test of air drying my waist length, semi wavy unprocessed 2a hair. My last cut was almost 2 years ago so my ends are dry and damaged from heat styling. My hair air dried smoother, softer and less frizzy.Highly recommend using with Recovery Conditioner!
