Four different alcohols, one of which is 2nd on the list then another 8th on the list. 9 ickys on the list which is perfume/fragrances. 2 superstars though. Anyhow I liked it sorta, but not that much. It made my hair soft but weighed it down; a heavy feeling that I definitely am not fond of. I did not read the ingredients, until now while doing the review lol. So I cannot recommend this nor will I ever buy it. I had received this in my monthly subscription box.

While this mask performance wise is lovely, I first and foremost have to shoutout its smell. It's so unbelievably pleasant that when I woke up the next morning with slightly damp hair, it actually put a smile on my face. Performance wise, I really liked this mask. I have pretty thick hair but it didn't feel like a glorified conditioner like some masks do or feel like a goopy mess that wouldn't actually make my hair feel any better. When I used this mask on wash days, I didn't use any of my usual detangling products or leave-ins just to see how it would feel and my hair always felt soft and smooth the next day. I can't speak to it making my hair feel stronger as it's pretty thick and hasn't been colored or had heat applied to it in a very long time. Excellent Restorative Hair Mask!

This is an excellent moisturizing hair mask that helps transform dry, damaged hair into smooth, shiny locks. I love the creamy texture and the smell of it on my hair! A little goes a long way so you don't have to overuse it. I love that it works its magic in only 3 minutes. If I have more time, I use it for 10 minutes. I love the way my hair feels soft and silky after. I like using it once weekly to repair my ends and to give my hair the extra boost of moisture it needs. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for silky, smooth hair that is not weighed down.

Great Short Term

Before Pros/Cons it's important to note that I do use this regularly and am on my 3rd full size tub.Pros! Genuinely does hydrate hair and make it manageable and soft. I use it every other day mixed with my conditioner as a conditioner (just half/half) and I love what it does for my hair. But...Cons: its very short term, this product has no noticeable long term effects its basically really juiced up conditioner, which if you have dry hair like I do is great. Another Con, like most of the Virtue products its got a TON of Parfum/Fragrance which is just straight up chemicals, and on that note this stuff smells SO strong. So if you are sensitive to scent this is NOT the product for you. Makes hair soft, smooth and shiny

I received this mask complimentary from Virtue Labs.My long and wavy hair is dry, frizzy and is prone to damage, split ends and breakage and especially during the summer months while in the pool and at the beach my hair needs a boost. This mask is just what my hair needs! I apply the mask evenly through my damp hair. A little goes a long way. It has a beautiful smooth texture and has a wonderful scent that is a rich, nurturing blend of fresh woods and clean citrus with coconut and yuzu extract. It is absorbed nicely. My absolute Go-To

I have been using Virtue hair care for a couple of years, but I have not felt this as compelled to write a review as I am today.. I just came back from a very fast-paced two week long trip where I chose not to bring any of my own haircare. Boy, what a mistake that was. Between three different climates, chlorinated water, salt water, intense sun, varying degrees of humidity AND a total lack of conditioner (out of the 7 hotels I stayed in, most only had "conditioning shampoo"), my hair was a sad, sad mess. I did what I could when I could, but in the end, my hair still ended up being dry to the point of resembling a pile of hay, and completely lifeless. Pricey, but amazing

I used this mask 3 times already on my very dry, damaged hair and I’m very impressed with the results. After I dry my hair, it feels very nourished, smooth yet it gives it a slightly fuller appearance too - probably from the type of keratin they use. I do wish it wasn’t so expensive, but on the plus side, a little goes a long way. With the 1.7 oz jar, I can tell I have 2 maybe 3? uses left, so I can get about 5-6 uses all together which is very impressive for that amount of product. I already sent out for a back up and I have the healing oil and split end serum to use, too. The smell is mild and very pleasant. Someone said it smells like snicker-doodles and now that’s all I smell from it. Quality Feels Diminished by Extortionate Pricing

My hair is either very good or very bad. I spend a lot of money on hair products and I usually don't mind the expense if the product is good. I can afford it and if it feels worth it, I don't think twice. This product is actually really nice and I would buy more Virtue products based on my experience with this one, except that the products are actually ridiculously and prohibitively expensive. In addition, I bought directly from the Virtue site instead of Amazon or another retailer because usually that would mean I'd receive some samples of other products and/or a coupon for some %age off my next purchase or something. I was surprised that Virtue didn't include any promotions or incentives whatsoever. Bad marketing move in my humble opinion.

Shine and Elasticity

I've used this mask probably four times in nearly two weeks. My hair has been in declining condition for awhile so I decided to try this. The color shown on Sephora is a bit off. I was expecting something that was not super thick, a bit gloppy looking and tan. I thought it was spoiled but checked the virtue website for pictures and it was darker and thicker. Possibly I did not read the description well enough but this is made from human derived keratin. This mask does not smell bad to me. It is actually quite slippery feeling for being so gloppy and my thin, fine hair does not need much of this product. The first use I noticed, while combing wet, an elastic snap. I used this again in two days since the snap encouraged me. Again my hair had more elasticity. A few more days and the next use my hair had shine. Now a few more days after another use my hair is really shiny with dry elasticity, no static. It also kind of sparkles like when I add a bit of sparkles to it for a day/night out but not quite so much. I do want to note my hair is much flatter than it normally is. I did take off a star for that. I am hoping it is not thinning my hair further. I have been using this with the Virtue recovery shampoo and conditioner.

Waste of money

Unfortunately, this was the worst purchase I've made in a long time. Not only is it super expensive, the smaller jar only had enough product in it for ONE shower! (So I couldn't even return it.) Granted, my hair is long and thick, and somewhat porous, which explains why I needed to use the whole jar. I left it in my hair for about 15/20 min while in the shower, but I was so disappointed with the end result. My hair dried extremely frizzy and puffy. It was rough and dry and BRITTLE to the touch, which it usually is not. The ends felt so damaged. I couldn't believe it. I've never dyed my hair and don't use heat stylers. My hair is only dry because it's so long and I live in a very dry wintertime climate.
