After deciding to switch from whey to a vegan protein powder i intially tried Nuzest but was not convinced with price and flavour. I browsed through protein powders on nourished life & found Vital Protein. I researched the company, ingreidents list and nutrion values on their website and was thrilled that they send out samples!I was sent the vanilla sample & was pleasently surprised with the subtle vanilla taste. Less powdery and grity than other pea protein powders and each serve is about $2!I will purchasing this protein powder from now on as it is good value and nice on the palate.

This product is a great vegan way to begin the day with a shot of plant protein.Very nice, not chalky, great vanilla taste.I prefer it best in icy water.

This is the popular brand and it’s ok but nothing amazing. It has a nice taste but it’s hard to blend it gets so clumpy. I have to have it in smoothies only. The price is great and I’m sure the quality is too. Good for those families or people on a budget in going to try another brand to compare.

This is so good! Tastes amazing in a simple ice/oats/frozen fruit/banana etc. smoothie - yummiest way to start the day! Keeps us feeling strong, fuelled and full well into the day and doesn't make one bloat the way other vegan proteins do. HUGE THUMBS UP! It's even nice just mixing with plain juice for a quick dose. OH and for those who aren't huge fans of stevia, this protein is amazing.
Best veg protein stuff I have ever had.Works wonders. Would recommend this for anybody who needs a clean protein product without any of the nasty stuff. I have given up on whey cause of all the hormone and antibiotics they stuff the cows with. Highly toxic stuff and over priced most of the time. This is the right price for a stuff as good as this and the tast is also great.No artificial stuff to make it better. I seriously value the company's dedication behind a product like this. The cherry in the cake is that it is made in australia. Will buy with my eyes closed. WILL SURELY KEEP BUYING THIS PRODUCT.
Because it is pea protein it can take some getting used to the taste and texture. The shake itself is rich and creamy, but I personally don't like the vanilla flavour of this one. It almost has a coconutty after taste to me. Guess it comes down to personal preference as I see lots of people enjoy the taste.Quick to mix up (I use my nutri bullet so literally 30 secs all up) and run out the door with. Martin & Pleasance are a well regarded brand so I trust the quality of this product.
It's not perfect but used in my nutribullet and mixed into a frozen berry smoothie for breakfast it's great! On its own, it tastes very powdery but I like that it's vegan and still giving me heaps of protein to keep me going throughout the morning. It also doesn't contain cr&p tonnes of sugar, so that is even better! Obviously with no sugar or fat it's not going to taste like a freaking donut. Lol
I ordered this because I was looking for a dairy-free protein that did not have any added sugars or sweeteners and on the website this seemed to be it. After receiving it I saw it unfortunately contains stevia and monk fruit (as well as thaumatin which sports fuel does now mention). My review isn't for the product, as I couldn't try it and had to give it away, but just so anyone with the same dietary restrictions is aware that the nutrition info on here is incorrect
I am almost at the bottom of my first tub and already have been back and purchased 3 more. I found this a little plain so am adding 1/2 tbsp. cacao and am much happier. When I also add a heaped tbsp. of Maca - it sets into a delicious pudding. As a coeliac with soy and lactose issues this is the only diet shake product that I have found I can use. I lost 5 kg last month. I intend to live with this as my permanent choice for lunch everyday.
I recently tried Vital Pea Protein in chocolate, but I decided to try vanilla after reading heaps of great reviews, and they were right! The vanilla is definitely the nicest Vital Pea Protein flavor that I've tried. It tastes like a delicious milkshake and it is very easy to digest. This is a drink that I feel very confident drinking as it has very low calories but is packed with protein, definitely a great tool for weight loss. I will definitely buy it again.
