Used these tyres in all weathers to commute to work, carrying a heavy laptop and gear. They have been excellent, good grip and no punctures despite using some country lanes with debris and potholes. They are perhaps a little heavier than some tyres without this level of durability. My main motivation for purchasing them was getting a dependable tyre to get me and my gear to work, they have certainly not let me down. I think they roll pretty well too. The reflective sidewalls provides good visibility in the dark. Highly recommended tyres.

Delivery took about 3 weeks. I like how the tire is gripping. Though the tire states 40 which i ordered 38c width, but it is slimmer than my 32c

Delivered earlier than expected and very well packaged. Tyres easy to fit and roll very well. They produce more noise than my previous tyres.. Puncture resistance I've found to be very poor. Punctured on first outing 0.7 mile into my usual route. Punctures on most rides since and not even totalled 70 miles on these to date. Needless to say I am now looking to swap these out for something with better puncture protection.

I have ridden this model in 28 and 32mm and was very interested to try the 35mm. I feel that these tires run on the narrow side for the listed size. Not a negative but something to be aware of. I bought my first pair of 35's and mounted them on our tandem. We are a fairly light tandem team, under 290lbs and we ride a Reynolds 531 tandem set up with upright bars and xtr paddle shifting. Right out the gate the extra air was noticed in quality of the ride. The more pleasant surprise was the almost negligible loss of speed. A quality design and good materials really pay off here. I purchased a second set for my commuter. Much faster and better riding than the Armadillos they replaced. Based on my past experience I expect these to wear well. At less than 40.00 I think they are a good value and would recommend for someone who rides where flat protection is important as I have found these tires to be very tough for their weight
I was trying to covert my old magnesium road bike into a gravel bike and was having trouble in finding tyres with a good size tread which would fit within the close clearance of my frame.
I just took a pair of these for a test on a 12 day tour. They do ride well. The problem started when, somehow, an industrial staple penetrated the tire's defenses. I had a flat. I bent my old trusty, aluminum tire removers taking the tire off. It had been hard to get on the rim before the tour - I had to use a tool, unlike with almost all other tires and ended up wasting a tube that somehow I damaged when mounting one of the 2 tires on their rims. It takes forever to remove this tire. It's difficult putting the tire back on the rim when not in one's shop at home. So, what can one do when a flat occurs far from home? I'm a long time bicycle rider of many decades of fixing bicycles and flats, and find these difficult to use when one as problems. I'm a long time bicycle rider of many decades of fixing bicycles and flats, and find these difficult to use when one as problems. They get a 3 since they are a delight to ride. I guess it's great if one has a support vehicle along, but in a greening world, one leaves the vehicle home and aims to survive with just the tools on one's bicycle.
Great tire grips well on the road. I have complete confidence in the tires. They stick like crazy. I had some Kenda tires on the bike and I hit a patch of liquid when I was doing a century in San Luis Obispo, CA and I slid across the road and hit the side of a mountain and broke my shoulder. I threw those tires out and I got the Vittorias. I have hardly had a flat since I started using the Vittorias. Maybe one flat in about five years. That is pretty good. Great tires.
I use these tires(700x48c) for cruising around town on my mtb bike. Good width for me as not too wide or skinny and low rolling resistance. Also work pretty well on indoor trainer.
About a week in and approximately 60 miles. Nice smooth running tire. As a casual rider they meet all my needs.
for my 2017 trek FX3 this is the perfect tire. good for the crappy streets. trails etc. at the right price. if you look at the 770c X 32-iso 622X32 they mount a little bit smaller. this time I went with the 700c X35 which are actually 37 if you look at the iso number. they mounted around 36.5 I don't know why Vittoria does it like that and its a bit tight going past the rim brakes on install however the wider tires do a better job out on the street taking up the road buzz. fast delivery thanks guys
