Vivobarefoot Primus Trail II FG Mens Rumba Red 42eu

I think Vivobarefoot is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Proper tunnel vision. From one style to another the size changes, so I am a UK 12 in the previous style I bought, but with this style which I also bought a UK 12 it's too small. So I figured, how can they get this wrong, its the same size shoe from the same company, so I tried to walk the shoe in which really hurt my toes, and then Vivobarfoot told me because I walked outside with the shoe, they can't replace it. So disappointed.

Quite comfy and hard wearing for their use. I wear them for indoor soccer but I’ve found the laces aren’t good for that purpose. I may elect to change the laces. I’m quite rough with my shoes and the mesh is starting to open up to reveal my big toe (a common problem amongst all my indoor shoes). I’m very keen to get my hands on a leather alternative when I finish destroying these ones. I like the barefoot sensation when playing.

Great fit, simple but strong construction. Really enjoying the way the shoes encourage a forefoot strike and increase awareness of biomechanics and cadence. Would definitely recommend these shoes for anyone who is slowly making the transition to barefoot or barefoot-style running.

Comfort, Style, Minimal, Light weight

This is my 6th pair of Vivobarefoot shoes over the last 10 years. Their quality of construction has gone way up, and is evidenced in this model. This are built, cushioned, and stitched like the top sneaker companies, but with all the Vivobarefoot DNA. I do wish the laces were elastic on this model, but that is the only issue. The traction of the sole is great for hiking.

Great fit and comfortable

Fits the shape of my foot well. I usually wear a 9.5 and a size 43 fit like a glove. The lacing system is nice, construction seems durable, and the sole is great for technical trails. Would recommend

Shoes shape has changed

I have bought vivobarefoot shoes religiously for years. I was buying this shoe again since I loved it much because I was worried it would go out of stock. After I tried the new pair on I realized the sole had a different cut than before and it doesn’t fit my foot as nice. The forefoot is narrower and no longer shapes around the big toe as well. These shoes no longer feel that they take the natural shape of a foot, which vivobarefoot has been known for. I noticed the print of the size in the tongue was different as well so I’m guessing they have a different manufacturer. My other recent vivobarefoot purchases have been just as disappointing. I hope vivobarefoot will correct this and go back to their original cut of the sole, otherwise I’m afraid I will no longer be ... MoreI have bought vivobarefoot shoes religiously for years. Ugly? Yes. Life changing? Also yes!

I have never been so happy with a shoe purchase. I've been rehabbing multiple injuries and these shoes have really helped with my healing journey. While I wouldn't wear these shoes to NY fashion week, I love these shoes so much I'm contemplating buying a second pair.

thought about a pair for a while. been using Altra's and love them too. the Primus Trail II is a great shoe. love the fit. even growing fond of the lacing system. unmatched quality !!
