VO5 Mega Hold Styling Gel 200ml

Best hair gel ever! Slicks my hair down so easily and doesn't leave a sticky residue! It has a really nice smell and lasts me for so long. Slicks down fly ways so great! Highly recommend

Good but still prefer L'oreal invisible gel

It provides a decent hold to my wavy/curly hair. I have a mixture of 2b, 2c, 3a and 3b curls and I was overall happy with the results. However there are just a couple of things I noticed. first being that this gel after it had dried would leave a slight sticky residue on my hands when I touched it. However, this was very slight. Secondly, I could be being biased but I just feel that the L'oreal invisible hold normal strength gel gave a stronger cast after diffusing. I like this because this will really give my hair the hold I am looking for and all you have to do is scrunch it out with oil and serum afterwards. This gel still gave me a cast and hold but I just prefer L'oreal more. Therefore, I would recommend this gel as it did the job well.

I have not used gel in a long time because it doesnt normaly give me the hold I want. This Mega hold gel by VO5 however holds brilliantly. It feels a little gloopy to use at first but once dried it is clean and grease free. Other styling products have left my hair with a greasy feel before, but not this one.I would recommend this gel to anyone looking for a good styling product.

I keep my hair quite short and as it's getting thin and tends to blow about a lot, I use various gels to keep it from going wild regularly, but this is the first time I have used VO5 Mega Hold Gel and have to say I was impressed.Firstly it is not too thick so easy to work into the hair and don't need to use too much to do my full head. Next it dries in fast and holds right away so i don't worry about messing it up before going out. Best of all it lasts all day and still in the same shape as when I first applied it.I would definitely recommend this product.

This Mega Hold Gel is strong. I have a double crown and sometimes after having a late shower, my hair isn't totally dry before I hit the pillow, so when I wake up, my hair can be stuck up, and no amount of water and gel can normally Tame this beast. However, I have now tried the VO5 Mega Hold Gel, and it actually works. I have now managed to have a respectable hair style that doesn't scream bed hair. The gel doesn't go in to a white crystal making it look as if you have dandruff, it holds for the entire day and you don't need masses of gel so you don't look like your hair is plastic. I have ditched the other waxes and gels and will get more of this when it runs out.

Where to start ? Ok so first of all wow what a great product. Normally i find it hard to get a good gel to work with but this product is #AMAZING.Easy to use and not to clumpy like other gels.And it does exactly what it says on the tin because i tested it :) it keeps a really strong hold on your hair even after 24 hours . obviously after you have been to bed you may need some minor adjustments if you move around as much as me lol. But all in all such a great product both to use and its long lasting as it says.I will 100% be buying this product again#VO5 #24HR #100%CLASS

A fantastic product for those who like a wet look, slick-back style. It holds extremely well yet washes out just as easily. It has a nice, gentle scent too. Personally, I prefer a product with a more matted finish and so this product wasn't a personal favourite as it tended to leave a slight wet look/shine to the hair. However, I have nothing negative to say about this product other than simply personal preference. It holds well, smells great and you only need a small amount to give your hair that strong finish. If you are looking for a product that holds, with a slight wet look that can easily be washed out, this is the product for you.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I have used gel type hair products in the past, but because I have quite thick hair, I was stuck in a position where using small amounts didn’t support my hair, but using too much also made it too heavy to support.That’s why I didn’t hold much expectation for the performance of VO5. After giving it a go though, I found it very easy to style my hair, and it held it well. I wouldn’t agree it provides 24 hour hold, but it keeps me right for a full days work and a session in the gym afterwards, so that’s not bad! It doesn’t allow for manipulation after application, So if you’re the type that likes to re-mould and re-style, probably isn’t the product for you. Decent product, would use again!

Ok, so I used to use hair gel in my teens, dolloped on thick, with shiny "wet look" results, and super-hard hair to boot.In more recent times, I've used putties or clays and never really considered gel's anymore, because I always associated it with how it used to look, from back in my teenage years.Colour me surprised when I ended up with a natural-looking finish after using this gel. It's not think or gloopy, it behaves as well as anything else I've used recently.Most importantly though, it holds, and it holds really well! Caught in the strong winds yesterday, I found that barely a hair had moved out of place, all whilst maintaining a natural look (so it didn't look like I had product in my hair).Honestly, it really surprised me.
