I am giving 3 stars because it was easy to assemble and is my mistake for not buying an oscillating fan. I am in an Air Conditioning outage and this fan received the best reviews of any other fans that were available to purchase same day because I could not wait. I have a small home with small rooms, and I do not feel the air circulation making it more bearable in a room. I only get relief when I am directly across from it. I am not asking for a miracle but I did expect at least a small whole room change in the temperature for example in a small bedroom. Honestly, I feel more coolness when I move to into a larger room where I have two very small probably $10 old sunbeam oscillating fans and a ceiling fan.

I purchased one of these fans yesterday from Lowe's. I like this fan so much that I plan to purchase a second one today. This fan does exactly what is advertised. It is very quiet on low. Fairly quiet on medium. Not so quiet on high. However, it really does circulate the air in the entire room. It was extremely easy to assemble and has a sturdy feel to it.

I chose this fan. I also wanted a product I could buy off the store shelf. Lowe’s website said they had 5 in stock and told me the aisle location. When I got there, none were at that location. An unfriendly employee looked it up, said they didn’t have any at that store. Then looked again and pointed me to a completely different part of the store. They had them. But they only had 2, not 5. I had to choose between a broken box and a box that had obviously been in water. I chose the broken box. Somehow, the product wasn’t broken when I took it out at home. I’ve had this pedestal fan for 5 weeks running it on high about 22 hours per day. I use it to circulate air by day and evenings overnight move cold ac air from one room to an adjoining room that has a hot spot.Ive had this pedestal air circulator for 5 weeks. Bought it from the Navy Exchange.I’ve been very pleased with its performance. I cleaned it for the first time today. It really needed it. I was surprised, even the fan blades had a coating of dust.Cleaning was easy. It has 3 screws and a magnetized screw driver will be handy. Careful with the clips.Reassembling it was easy. It lined up well and clips snapped into place. Screw holes lined up just drop screws down the holes, will line up. (attach to end of magnetized screw and guide into place, works better.
My mother-in-law is a miracle worker at cooling down a house in the hot Los Angeles summers and I've discovered her secret is Vornado! I bought this fan after our previous cheap one gave up the ghost, and I really couldn't be happier with it. the design is incredibly sturdy, and the fan power is really phenomenal. We also like it for the subsequent white noise it makes (starting on setting 2, as the first fan speed is fairly quiet) which isn't distracting but drowns out the noise of the street well.the product was exactly as described here on the website, and was shipped quickly and securely. thanks to the whole Vornado team!
Airflow not as strong as Vornado used to be. The real problem is that the power cord exits the pole under the base contributing to the wobble. Also tightening the base and legs do not stop the wobble. The legs even when carefully tightened are loose. I have put together many fans but I cannot find a solution. Returning will be difficult as it is difficult for me to carry it.
I purchased this fan and when I opened the box, I wasn’t impressed. It seemed small . Input it together and turn it on, and boy was I excited. The fan is very powerful. My daughter came over and was also impressed how good the fan was. She immediately told me she wanted the fan. I ended up purchasing one for her. The following week my son came over from out of town and , I put it in the spare bedroom for him to use and he love it. He stated he wanted one. I ended up ordering another one for him too. I will be purchasing another one for my office room. This fan is so worth it. I have other brands of fan , but this one is the best one of all.

I need a fan to blow out the window but not a box fan as we have odd shape crank windows. This fit the bill perfectly! Perfect height with a lot of power for the size. I actually had the just delivered box in my car and at an event that had no ventilation. Used it there and it did help with some circulation in the room. Easy to put together and sturdy. I am very happy with my purchase as it is exactly what I needed.
