Vornado Pivot Personal Air Circulator Fan, White

Love this little fan! Why good things do come in small packages. Simple, makes using this portablepersonal fan an easy winner easy use in a quick manner. Plenty of power with off 3 speed selections by a simple twist of the back nob. Has 3 little gripper bands (feet) that keep it from sliding around. And a charming resemblance to the front end of a B-52 bomber! what more could you ask for in a personal ‘wind moving’ machine.

This fan is smaller than it appears in the picture but does move the air in a bedroom quite well and will fit on nightstand. For kitchen use it works well too. For living room use, you will have to have fan speed on Medium or High to feel it across a small living room in Spring and Summer. Keep fan grill clean and it will run quieter for you. Pivot angle a bit tricky, but you can adjust it. Fan not the quietest but not too loud either. Wait for it to be on sale like I did, and then get it while it is on sale.

Best tiniest fan with most power & attractive!

I absolutely love this fan because it is the smallest most attractive one I could find anywhere at such a reasonable price. I leave it next to my bed on a night table (either the one to the left or to the right of me) so that it blows directly on my face. It is the part of my body that gets the hottest, especially since menopause, even tho I like to cover the rest of my body. It takes up very little room, works on 3 different speeds, the highest of which is quite high for something so small. I often use the other 2 speeds, since there is usually another source of air conditioning available, including central air, even tho it is not always blowing air. The one I got is a sort of off white color with a bronzy metal which looks retro like & much more expensive than it ... MoreI absolutely love this fan because it is the smallest most attractive one I could find anywhere at such a reasonable price. I have had it going almost all the time in my bedroom for the whole summer in NY, as I am home most of the time. I would definitely buy it again.

Excellent Vornado fan, however the box was damaged upon arrival.

The product arrived with a small hole in the box. Thankfully the product seemed unharmed. But aside from rather poor shipping, This fan is great quality. It pushes a lot of air for its size and was quieter than expected. It is 120 volts so it has a lot of power behind it. Vornado really knows how to make good fans. But if the product had not been damaged upon arrival I would have left 5 stars.

Good idea, Bad in practice.

I really wanted to love this fan. I’ve had countless amount of Vornado products but they just can’t seem to get their portable fans right. The fan works good, however you CANNOT take the fan apart. No matter how you make or break it with cleaning, your fan will suffer if you can’t clean it. Overtime the grills get clogged (not to mention it attracts dirt like moths to a candle having all the funky aerodynamic vents) it becomes clogged and weak. Their advice is to blow it out with compressed air. Doesn’t work like that. I can’t think of any way to take it apart unless I have to rip it to shreds. Pretty disappointing. It’s so cute too. I recommend the Vornado 133 instead. Grill comes off and pushes more air.

Only decorative. Not a practical fan at all

The fan barely generates enough air to even make you feel that you have something going on (even for small table fan standards). In a summer day, you might not even feel if it is working or not (regardless of how close you keep the fan to yourself). There is 3 speed modes. The first two speed settings are totally useless. Probably enough air for insects to cool down. The full speed is really noisy and doesn't cool down anything (not even your face). And this is definitely not a quite fan. Other than the good and cute looks, there is nothing else to appreciate in this fan. I returned it the next day I got it.

Perfect Little Fan

This fan I have to say is the best little fan. When I received this fan it came very well packaged. After opening it I knew right away this was going to be a great fan. It is very durable and the plastic is very hard. I also like the Mod classic vintage design to it. Gives it a little style which is great for an office or little kids room. I also like how you can aim it up or all the way to the ceiling. Although small and personal size it blows pretty great. It would be wonderful on a desk at an office. I decided to play the adorable little fan in my 1 year old's room. It work wonderful there because we keep it on throughout the night and it the perfect amount of air; not too much, but still a breeze. I also loved putting it in her room, because on high it louder, which creates a muffle noise of us throughout the house. The noise is not over the top, but just right to go to sleep too or help someone go to sleep. I like noise when falling asleep and this is perfect amount of noise. I also wanted to point out there is different settings and I usually keep in medium or high. If you are looking for a small personal fan for a child's room or even one for the office this is it. It is perfect size and it is actually cute!

Perfect!

My bathroom ceiling heater/fan went out nearly 2 years ago. I live in a remote area where it is impossible to find a repair person, much less replacement parts. I (over) paid for this Vornado personal fan at Rite-Aid in Bishop, California but it was money well spent! It clears the steam from the room and keeps the walls & ceiling free of mold. Weekly vacuum of the fan -- while it's unplugged -- keeps it running in proper order. Now that I know it comes in white I will replace it when the time comes. I'm sold on Vornado products and can't say enough about the energy efficiency!

Puts out a lot of air for a small fan.

I'm amazed at how much air this well designed Vornado desk fan puts out even on the lowest speed. The fan is pretty quiet on the lowest speed and gradually gets louder on the higher speeds. I purchased my fan in the storm grey color and it goes well with just about everything. I wish I had bought one of these fans a lot earlier in the summer. The only thing I would change is the location of the speed dial which is located at the rear of the fan.

Vornado Personal Fan

This is a small tasteful looking fan with I believe 3.5” fan blades. It’s high setting has 2950 rpm, but it’s force is commensurate with its size when comparing Vornado’s larger fan blades models with a slightly lower rpm on high. It’s somewhat triangulated base is sturdy. For my intended purpose, this fan is perfect. I have personally only purchased Vornado fans for decades. They are reliable, and warranted with great customer service
