Vornado VFAN Mini Classic Personal Vintage Air Circulator Fan Green

i wasn't sure what product to purchase so, after reading thru so many reviews i decided on the VFan! glad i took the time to do so! very happy with my purchase!! air flow quality is wonderful. on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being noisiest/poor airflow/overall quality.Noise - rate it 3. a bit noisyAir flow - rate it 5. for such a little thing it puts out a lot of air!Overall quality for the $$ - rate it 5. great product made well. will sustain for many years. it can be taken a part and cleaned if necessary.

Best Fan EVER!!!

I bought my Vornado fan 4 years ago for my office desk. It's so quiet, especially on the lower setting. I actually hardly ever need it on the faster speed because the lower setting puts out the perfect amount of air for me. I've left it running 24/7 for upto 2 weeks with no issues. It's stylish, I get so many complements on how pretty it is. And people are blown away with how quiet it is and how strong it is. Then I tell them how much I paid and they can't believe I got it for so little and yet it's so well built. I will always have a Vornado fan. I even got one for my daughter to take to college!

Disappointing

I bought a green mini classic that did not work, straight out of the box. I previously purchased another classic Vornado fan that has worked well and I've enjoyed, so I was excited to get another. I really liked the design and the green color was a more appealing shade than expected. The customer service has been mixed. I wrote to the help email, and received a reply that (eventually) set me up with the warranty. I've followed the steps to submit the claim, and now communication has completely dropped off. I'm hoping this means that another fan is already in the mail on its way, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that this week make me think twice about buying another Vornado product.

Fantastic Fan

I bought this, because my mom has been struggling with fevers, despite medical attention. We had been resting a little battery-operated fan on the bed, as I thought we would have to with this one. Absolutely unnecessary. It might be small, but it has power. It is almost entirely made of metal, which I prefer, but have come to not expect in modern products. It is retro-elegant, and it is a joy to use. One slight quibble is that the color seems a little darker than the photos, but it is such a relief to have a quality product one hardly cares.

Good Build Quality

This is pretty-well-built for something made in China. As long as you match the application to the fan, you can have good results with the mini VFan: 1.)Don't expect this fan to cool you from over ten feet away or 2.) in the summer heat (over 80 degrees farenheit).I leave it on my refrigerator and it helps me in my small kitchen, but I live up north, so it never really gets too hot up here.At 21 watts, this fan has a power of about .18A. If you know anything about fans, this is about as low-power as you can get. To contrast, the old Vornado Jr. two-speeds had 1.1A, so about NINE TIMES AS POWERFUL. It is the most portable fan I have ever owned (the cowl acts as the perfect handle when un-plugged).The small grille pops out with a little effort and you can wipe down the blade with a damp sponge and give a drop or two of oil to the shaft. Always un-plug first. Like I say, if you don't expect too much from this tiny fan, it'll treat you well.

Great product.

I purchased a vornado fan several years ago and I still have it. I bought the new fan hoping it would be similar to the other fan and it appears to be. It has the same appearance and weight as the older fan. It runs quietly and really moves the air to all parts of the room. I think it's a great product. I'm glad I purchased it and I think it's well worth the price.

It is as good as it looks

Modern products that mimic retro design are so often disappointing. They might look great but they're often made from cheap plastic materials. I am pleased to report that this fan is as good as it looks. It is solidly constructed with thick, heavy metal and features superior modern performance. I bought this for temporary use while my central unit was being repaired, but it has earned a permanent spot on my desk. I highly recommend it.

LOVE!!! Vornado: Nice Brand Works so Well

I love Vornado--such an excellent brand. I've had mine for years now and it still works like it's brand new. I was thrilled that Target had this. I have the white fan--and it's like a creamy white color. One of the features I love is that the fan can be daily adjusted up or down depending on the need. I love love love the retro appearance--and I cannot believe how well this little fan throws air. It's a wonderful stand-up product from a great company--and we highly recommend this product.

Perfect for apartment bedroom

I bought this partly for the great jet turbine retro aesthetics and partly because Vornado has a solid reputation. At full speed, this is able to circulate air in every corner of my 11'x10' bedroom. I'm often listening to music with headphones so the slightly loud fan noise at full speed doesn't bother me. Be aware that it isn't quiet at the full RPM.At half speed, it doesn't circulate the air fully, but is perfect for pointing directly at me when I'm at my desk. I can still feel it when it's halfway across the room. Worth it, if all you care about is looks

So when I got this fan it would turn on, but the blades wouldn’t move. I stuck a pencil in when it was turned off and pushed them a little and it moved slightly but it was like they were stuck or something. So I returned it and got a new one. This one works, *but* has a really strong chemical smell to it, even after I’ve wiped it down with cleaner. Also, it’s making an annoying sound when on the higher setting. It has two settings, the first one is like it’s barely even on at all. The second setting is like full blast and really puts out a lot of air which is impressive given that it’s so small. I can get past the smell and even the annoying sound it’s making, because it really is a super cute fan.
