Vornado VMH350 Whole Room Heater

A great, solidly constructed American-designed product.It's a fan heater that also doubles as a fan-only in summer, so great value. A smart design, with thermostat controlled heating and air circulator. Coming as it does with its five year warranty, I expect it will be around for awhile. Metal construction, no plastic housing (who needs plastic heaters giving off toxic gases?) ,

Arrived fast. Is a remarkably quiet machine. Sure, it is not going to outperform a decent fan blown gas heater, but it removed the chill from a room without me even noticing it. Isn't comfort what we are really after? And for the price, I couldn't recommend it enough.

A great fan heater

What is immediately noticeable in the Vornado is its robust build quality and its attractive visual design. The machine is quiet in operation and the controls are effective and easy to use. The small remote control is another feature and the timing option represents a very useful aid in reducing the frequency of heating an empty room, assisting our efforts to manage power usage.Altogether we are very pleased with your product.

Does what it says and their customer service is great

Good little heater for when i am working from home. Not too hot. I was confused as to why I couldn't turn it on. The team helped me out and didn't make me feel stupid (black switch at back) plus little button on top that is mentioned in manufacturer booklet. Bought lots of stuff from reduction revolution and am a returning customer

Great heater - need to know before butinf

This is an air circulating heater. It is NOT MEANT to blow HOT air. The air circulation it provides with its correct dan is meant to circulate warm air, not hot air because that would otherwise be bad for the user. Dry, hot air being circulated is never good as it can cause skin burns. Standard ceramic fans can do that because they don’t circulate air as much. Just be mindful this works best for bedrooms and smaller spaces NOT an entire house or living room that is large. I find that it stops blowing air once your set thermostat is reach and it stays accurate, more accurate than other dan heaters with room temp actually. Then turns out when temps drop below the set thermostat.

Great heater for home office

Fantastic little heater for heating my home office when I don't want to heat the whole house with the aircon. Provides instant heat and love the remote control. Very easy to operate and the handle on the top makes it easy to move around. Also love that the outer shell/cabinet does not heat up. Was a great purchase.

Love it and fast delivery!

A 5 year warranty and one of JB’s awesome snap sale prices made this too good to pass up. I ordered it around 1.30pmish yesterday and the delivery estimate was between 8-16 June, another week or two away. I was gobsmacked to find out it was delivered to the post office at 6.30am this morning. From Maribynong to Gippsland overnight is fabulous service.The heater is exactly what I hoped for, and works just fine. I’m impressed with its sturdiness and I’m glad I went for the remote version. It’s quiet, efficient, and has an auto temperature sensor that fires it up if the ambient temp shown on the digital display dips below the desired set room temp. This is a sturdy, well constructed unit and will suit me perfectly.My kitties will enjoy this.

Not what I had expected

I had high hope for this product after reading some reviews and the technical specs.However, after unboxing and using the product for a few hours, I was evidently disappointed with its performance. The fan seems weak (small fan and small rotary motor) which renders it incapable of generating enough torque to blow the air out with sufficient strength. Therefore, the fan cooling function is relatively weak and the heating function is similarly weak as it cannot force sufficient heat into the room. The design is sleek, modern and attractive but this unit is just too small and lacks sufficient power to perform adequately. Overall, a big disappointment for a product that costs 2-3 times more than similar products (often with better output performance).

Small but efficient heating for a small heater..

Uses less power than most other small heaters. Works well. Metal case and a remote make it a very affordable heater. Having used the Vornado fan, in Summer, it is very similar working. Would recommend highly for rooms such as bedroom or office. Easy manoouverability with a good carry handle. 2 heat settings and a fan only setting. 12 hour auto off timer. 5 year replacement warranty gives me peace of mind.

Going well so far. A bit of trouble with a cat wanting to sit way too close to heat source.Concave fan guard would be better convex??? But then it may not work as well. Yet to find out if it is energy efficient but its performance suits me well.Small, stable and efficient.
