\nAfter a longwait the Vornado fan finally arrived:Ordered May5 arrived May 13. NOT AT ALL what I expected: the ad said medium it was tiny next to the medium sized Vornado I bought a year and a half ago! from the same Lazada Store! Lazada: Please monitor your sellers to observe truth in advertising! Even its branding was a poorer rendition. \nLAZADA please enhance coordination between sellers and delivery agency. seller claimed they have been waiting lex but lex had 2day vacation due to election

The unit seems to be a factory defect. I compared the unit I received with my 1 year old original unit and the fan speed and air that it produce is not at par with my 1 year old one. Tried to inquire with the seller about it but just got a standard message that they can't respond because of skeletal workforce. With no guarantee of a replacement and having to go through a tedious return process, I just took the bullet here. Next time would just be buying at a physical store to be sure the product is legit and working properly.

This product is so weird and wonderful. It solves my woes using a tradtional fan or splurging on an AC unit. My room's temperature feels a lot nicer now.\n\nI'm still playing around where to place and how to angle it in my room but currently, it's near a small window and pointing above the ceiling. I have small space in my room as a workstation and I can still feel the cool air under the table.\n\nSince I work at night, I sleep during day time which could get really nasty hot so I pointed the Vornado directly to me at the lowest speed level and it feels like I'm sleeping under a tree while the wind blows. I slept like a baby. 😆\n\nAnd the air it blows feels natural and doesn't feel sticky on the skin like a tradtional fan. Solid built quality as well so I hope it ... Four stars because the fan hasn't been through a summer of use yet. It replaces a 12-y-o Vornado 633 with a burnt up cord. The 630's switch on the side is more convenient; the base seems sturdier. It also seems a bit quieter except on Hi which is really loud but moves a ton of air. Downside, so far: harder to pick up without a built-in handle on the back. Look forward to easier cleaning, per the sales blurb. Hope that's true. Had to use an air compressor to blow gunk off the 633 blades.
This is a classic Vornado fan and performs as expected, moving lots of air quietly. It has a familiar design we know from these fans.What I don't like is the power control knob is small and fussy. If you have dexterity issues or arthritis I could see its size being an accessibility issue. It actually feels flimsy and I'm worried will break off in the future.Also the power cord is a few feet shorter than that on an older "small" Vornado fan that I used to own. This makes it harder to position in a room.I'm actually considering returning this fan for an upgraded model for these reasons.
