I purchased these rollers to replace my 1960's set. Good amount of rollers for a full head of hair. I have very long thick hair and they nearly did my whole head at once. They take 30 mins to heat up which I didn't mind but they never really got hot enough for a tight curl. If you want natural loose ringlets they are perfect. They are terrible for 1950's - 60's tight stylised curls. The clips they came with are amazing.

It does take 25 minutes to heat up as per instructions. The red light does not go to green when heated up. Apart from that they work well and I usually use them after 15 minutes heating.
This set of heated rollers is easy to use and is suitable for short and longer hair. I found the insulated ends of the rollers made placing them a lot easier than others I have had previously. I believe that I will use these often and I am very pleased with the results. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow. Thank you.
Very disappointed with this product, rollers do not heat up enough to hold a curl unlike my previous set that had the furry type rollers. Unfortunately would not recommend and shall now be looking at alternative curling tools.
Is a very well priced unit for the amount of rollers (20 rollers in 3 different sizes). The extra clips that can be placed over the roller to secure them are great, especially if you have the type of fine hair which rollers can easily slide out from. My recommendation of the product is for purchasers who don't require a quicker heating time. I'm accustomed to my previous roller set which heated for use after only a few minutes. I probably wouldn't have purchased this unit had it stated on the OUTSIDE of the sealed box that it takes 20-30 MINS TO HEAT THE ROLLERS (which is casually mentioned toward the end of the instruction booklet in the box!).
I was very unhappy with the Vasson Hair curlers. The material they are made from is too slippery, you roll your hair on and try to put the clips on but your hair just falls out. I have had heated curlers before and loved them but these I would not recomnend.
This is an excellent product for home use as a hair care and styling appliance. It has the following improvements over the one I purchased 6 years ago: 1. Heat ready indicator to show when optimum temperature is reached 2. 3 Clip storage compartments for the three different sized metal clips. 3. Cool touch roller ends to reduce the heat on the fingers during use.
Heats up quickly. An abundance of heat rollers with three sizes for all types of hair. compartments for each size of the clips to keep the unit neat. The large plastic clips can be used if a soft curl is required. Very pleased with my purchase and excellent value for money.
