This product is absolutely great and worthy to add on to your makeup. I have very thin and silky straight hair. If we follow instructions provided in the manual then we cannot go wrong. Have not more than 3 cms layer of hair and style your way. I does not take more than 10 mins to do my whole hair. Very handy and quick. I have recommended this product to 5 of my friends and all have ended up buying after seeing at my place

I bought this hair styling tool when Myer a sale on, I have naturally curly hair and straighten all the time. I had read it had great reviews, so I thought I would try it out. I can honestly say it is amazing! I am a busy mum of 3 kids and I would spend and hour and a half on my hair and just don't have the time most days, when I used the curling option, my hair was done in 20 mins!!! It looked like I had been to the salon, I am so so happy with how my hair feels and looks after. It's super easy to use and I only use it once and my hair lasts for 3 days, i highly recommend this product.

I love my new smooth and wave by VS Sassoon as it does what no other product has done before. It straightens and waves my hair! Genius. AND rather than storing a straightener and curling tong in my tiny bathroom drawers, I now only have one tool to store - winning! My favourite thing about this styler is the type of wave it achieves plus the fact it creates a consistent look over my whole head - really hard to achieve with a normal tong. The results are incredible, both the wave and the straight - this product is great value for money and beautifully made so i know it will last.

I was so excited to buy this as I am lazy and normally do nothing with my hair. Each time I followed the instructions sooo carefully. The whole head takes quite a long time and the curls it produces are awful, maybe 1/5 curls comes out nice. Unless you have good hairspray etc expect so have your “curls” turn straight in propably 15 mins even if you use hottest temp. If that wasn’t bad enough every so often you might have a small fly away hair that gets caught which results in your WHOLE chunk of hair getting stuck in the barrel- absolutely terrifying. I used this twice and in that time had my hair stuck 4x (I have fine, soft hair) no reason for it to tangle as there were no knots at all. Ripped out chunks of my hair. NEVET AGAIN
First one I brought; didn’t work so I exchanged it. Didn’t have one in stock so had to wait for it to be sent out. When I finally got to use it (I followed all instructions & watched YouTube vids) it’s ripped my hair and then next time wouldn’t release it, my hair was stuck in the chamber, I tried again and again and didn’t get one curl out of it. (I didn’t even bother with the straightener side) So I returned it and will stick with my old school curling wand. FYIMy hair is natural wavy, quite thick and just below my shoulders.
I bought this for a joint family gift for my two daughters and I. My eldest daughter has this long straight hair Nd my youngest and Have kind very fine straight hair. I bought this for curling our hair. It’s works great on both of theirs hairs but particularly the fine hair. I have have experience in the past where our hair has got stuck. Our hair does not get stuck in this curler. I just need to work out how to do the curls in my our hair. I a little bit uncoordinated.
I ordered 2 - one for my mum and one for myself. Power/temperature buttons on both are loose/faulty, mums would not turn on at all. Mine turned on but could not control temperature. First use was ok, second use it tangled my hair to the point I had to cut about 4 inches of hair off to get the machine off my head. Luckily I was doing very small sections, unluckily this section is right where my hair naturally parts. I will never use a machine like these again and aim to return both that I purchased.
I wouldn’t recommend. I saw countless reviews where people ordered it and it didnt power on but I saw good reviews too, so i decided to give it a try. I ordered it and low and behold it didnt turn on. I couldnt get a replacement from the manufacturer or place of purchase and was forced to return it. Major disappointment and shows if you read countless bad reviews dont waste your time, because its likely youll end up being another one of those bad reviews.
This product is amazing depending on your hair length and type. If you have long thin hair it’s absolutely amazing and the curls are like what you would pay for in the salon. Thick hair you have to do much smaller pieces to achieve the desired curls. Fantastic for long hair but if you have short hair it is a little bit difficult to use on your self as the machine part is big and heavy. Over all I love it I have short thick hair but love being able to do friends hair and growing mine out so I can use it easier.
My hair is medium length and it did not produce any curls. No matter how many times I've tried, every method and video I watched. It gave me a wave. Don't waste your money on this rubbish. I couldn't even return it because it's been used but the item was clearly doesn't work as advertised
