With the hot styler, I find that with a little practice, I got the hang of using the styler. It doesn't pull or snag at my hair and gives me a sleeker style than a hair dryer. You just have to pull your hair a little to give it a bit of tension when you run the brush through your hair. This dries hair while styling it at the same time. I find my hair is less frizzy, more sleek looking but you can add texture with the bi-directional feature. Great Styling Tool- Multipurpose use.\n\nOk initially I had a hard time trying to work out the correct way to use the rotating brushes in this styling tool . I needed to coordinate holding it in my hands and at the same time holding the button which rotates the brush. Also I needed to think which direction I need to rotate the brush to get the result I am looking for. I use it all the time especially after work all of a sudden we decide to head out for entertainment I just use the paddle brush to smooth my hair and restyle it for the evening making it look super smooth , neat and tidy. The paddle brush does not rotate.\n\nThe two round brushes rotate. As you can see the bristles in this brush are very sparse leaving space in between . This allows hot air flow as well as the plates heat to allow to dry and style your hair. I love with the rotating brush you could create volume in your hair. I use it around my crown area and use it to create volume and lift on the hair near my forehead to give me the glamorous style. This makes my fine hair look voluminous and eliminates the flat hair look.\n\nAlso great that it maintains an optimum low heat which protects your hair from getting damaged. \n\nI love using it to create different styles as well as create those hollywood curls on my hair. It dries my hair as well as styles it at the same time. Very handy as I don't need to hold a brush in one hand and hold a hairdryer in another hand. this toll serves the purpose . Always great result!

I’m happy about this brush because it’s very easy to use. It has a powerful motor inside, so rotating motion is steady and gets job done very fast. Always gives great result and my hair looks like it was done in salon. This brush comes with a lot of extra attachments, and a lovely bag to store it. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t have skills like me to do hair professionally. Also It’s must have tool if you are going on holidays and always want to look your very best!

Fast & easy blow wave once you get the hang of it!

Sorry, this review is a bit long, but hear me out. I have type 3A curly hair that LOVES to retain water, which I straighten regularly with an ionic hairdryer & GHD straightener. Due to neck problems, I looked into different hot air brushes and this one by VS Sassoon seemed to have some great reviews for the price. I was kind of hoping the paddle brush accessory would act like a heated straightening brush, but didn't realise it would blow out hot air like the round brush accessories. That aside, I watched some videos by VS Sassoon on YouTube on how to get the most out of using this, and I must say it has cut my dry time from 1 hour with a regular ionic hairdryer to 10-15 mins! If you decide on trying this out, be sure to look up the videos on YouTube beforehand and try it out on a small section of hair (maybe underneath at the back of your head) to get the hang on how to use the rotation feature of the round brushes, otherwise you may risk getting your hair caught in it; you don't want it breaking off! I don't use this ALL the time but I do if I'm in a rush or feeling a bit lazy, so it's pretty handy especially in the summertime. For those out there with similar hair to me, I suggest wrapping your hair in a microfibre towel after shower for a good 20-30 mins, then use the paddle brush accessory to slowly brush through sections of the hair until it's about 80% dry, then go back through sections of hair with the appropriate round brush size for your hair length, using the rotation feature to pull the hair downwards while it dries. Great to add style and body to your hair

Your hair does need to be about 80% dry but the best thing is that you can let your hair air dry and then use the hot air brush to shape and style. The heat from the brush will remove any bumps and kinks that you may have from natural drying. It does take a little getting used to but it's a really good option if you don't want to blow dry and style your hair in a big hurry. I am finding it a little difficult to get lift at the roots but I just need a bit more practice. I'm a bit older so having hair that is too flat isn't very flattering so this gives me a smooth style with a bit of lift and body

Rotator buttons stopped working on the first use

I took delivery of this product this and immediately tried it. I had one turn with the brush rotating and could immediately see it worked well. I only did one small strand of my hair. Then immediately the rotator stopped working. You can press the buttons yet nothing happens. And yes it in on the heat setting not cold. Have read up everything to make sure I was using it correctly. Faulty straight out of the box. Very disappointing.

Terrific hot air brush

I recommend this product completely. I have a chronic pain condition so blow-drying my hair with a round brush is impossible. This hot air brush is very light and I can hold it with both hands while it rotates. There is a little bit of a learning curve but it's a quick process now. The key is to make sure to quickly blow-dry to 80% particularly the top of your head and then the hot air brush dries the bottom part of the hair. I have shoulder length hair and I use a heat protector every time with this brush. It is lovely to have styled hair again as this makes it possible even for someone with a disability.

Vidal Sassoon Hot air styling brush ..fabulous!

I needed something to style my hair that was easy and quick and this hot airbrush does the job! It doesn’t take long to get used to as the settings are uncomplicated and it’s very light weight and easy to use. It gave my hair a soft loose but bouncy curl and generated a lot of body, the curl seems to hold well. I wash my hair every second day and if you wish the style to last longer I would recommend some setting lotion with it or spray after achieving your desired look. It is also good for travelling as it’s detachable so it becomes compact when you’re on the go. I highly recommend this great brush!
