VTech Full Colour Video Baby Monitor - BM4200N

I really loved this monitor. It was cheaper than most and really easy to use. The battery life was horrible so I had to leave it plugged in all night. After 2 months of owning it, it just stopped working. I got a refund and purchased it again in the hopes it would be ok. Now into a month of monitor 2 and it just turns itself off. So disappointed because I really love this monitor it just doesn’t work!

Picked it up today. So far, so good. Mounted only a metre above bassinet and have clear full frame view. Crystal clear picture. Sound quality is great with lots of settings. Love the night light features.

I bought this monitor about 5 months ago from bigW and the battery life is terrible. From fully charged, as soon as I unplug the monitor, it loses one bar from the battery. The clarity of the camera and screen, as well as the options for lights and music are great, but the terrible battery life is a real let down

I think this is a great product! Has colour display and night time camera is very clear. When you mute the sound on the monitor, there are little lights that still alert you if your baby is crying. This is a great feature when you have company over and don’t want to necessarily subject your guests to the baby crying but still want to keep your eye on little bubba. Only downfall is that the camera has to be connected to a power source at all times. This limits where you can place the camera.

was gifted this for baby shower and glad I didn't pay for it. goes flat so fast literally needs charging every day. the screen hardly turns off which is very annoying at night time even tho bub is asleep and not moving the screen is on its very light even a car driving past is enough to turn the screen on also the music sounds terrible

100x zoom, terrible camera

Just set up, seriously the worst baby camera I’ve ever seen.If you are after a camera that has 100x zoom and need to put the camera 10 metres back and mess around with the angles this is for you, unusable would be putting it nicely.Straight back to big w for a refund. Vtech cameras I can now see why your reviews are beyond a joke on most of your cameras. Buy a cubo ai and save yourself the drama.

Amazing monitor!

I just bought this yesterday, replacing an 8 year old one that finally stopped working, and my goodness the quality is amazing! The screen is so clear, I love it!Really happy with this and the price is reasonable. Definitely would recommend!
