I use this knife constantly and actually have 2 of these now. I take great care of them but owuld love to have them sharpened at a reasonable shipping price like one of the competitive knive companies.

I purchased the Wusthof Gourmet Grey 6" Chef's Knife to complete a set. I really like the grey handled knives. They are a nice change from the typical dark wood handles you see most of the time. You really can't go wrong with Wusthof knives either. The photos on Crate & Barrel's website are an accurate depiction of the product.

I got this knife for my husband 40th. It arrives exactly on his birthday, for it to be wrong. The packaging and everything says grey, but does not match the photo of what I ordered.
I bought these 4 different sizes. I love the grey handle and they are very sharp. My first set of good knives at 60 years old. I guess its never too late to be well equiped.
I'm a 20+ year chef. I've dropped more good knives than I'd care to admit. So I don't bring my best knives to work. I bought this thinking maybe I'd get wustoff quality a bit cheaper. Wow did I ever. I used this this for three months of heavy professional kitchen work before I ever took a steel to it. Now I just give it 2-4 swipes on the steel every few days and it's on again. I mean I use it for everything. #50 diced potatoes - filleting salmon and dicing tomatoes. It's lighter than the classic so better for the old Carple tunnel too. Really great knife.
There is nothing better then a sharp knife! My new 8 inch Chef Knife is light, easy to use, and sharp as can be. I have been cutting celery, onions and peppers to put into freezer bags for later use. No problem with this knife. Made Hog Maw and it sliced it like butter. Thanks. Looking to get another knife next week.
