I wear the Wacoal Awareness bra in 40D. I ordered the same size (40D) in the Back Appeal Smoothness Underwire bra. When I tried it on it was definitely larger. The cup size was the same but when I measured the band, it was 3”+ longer than the Awareness bra. Even in the tightest hook it was still too loose. I so wanted it to work. If there were a Nordstrom in Tucson, I would have gone in to be fitted for this particular bra. I returned it through Nordstrom rack which doesn’t carry the full selection of Wacoal.

I REALLY wasn't in the store for a new bra but there I was, at the top of the escalator, in the Intimates department. The young store associate greeted me and her friendliness encouraged me to focus a bit. I don't know how, but on a sweaty, humid day, she convinced me to try on her "favorite brand." She was a bra fitter-in-training, but helped size me into a bra that's 2 cup sizes larger than I've ever worn. Fits like a snug glove and lifts the girls back to where they started 50 years ago. Cheers to Dillard's for retaining department staff and prioritizing bra fitting in Intimates. #sweepstakes

Until last month, I'd worn the same sized brassiere for 25-30 years, including before and after breast cancer and an eighty pound weight loss. Duh. You know how you get a body imagine your head and it's hard to embrace/accept change? Or maybe you don't, but anyway...I finally got my first bra fitting, ever (and I'm 67) in June. I'd previously thought it was silly and that I knew my own size. But, nooooooo!Until then, I figured my bewbies were just gonna do their own thing anyway, thanks to gravity. When the fitter brought me down several band sizes and up a cup size (wait.....from a 44c to a 40d???) and handed me a Wacoal Back Appeal bra, I was stunned. So comfortable! And amazingly supportive. The girls faced forward, rather than spilling to the sides. Plus, it ... And wonder of wonders, it was pretty, which made me feel the same!I bought my first one from the fitter. But I purchased the same one (different color) from Bare Necessities at a *significantly* lower price. It was great to have more colors to choose from, too.I was impressed with the fast turnaround from order to doorstep. Great customer service!I would talk about my Beloved's reaction to my new undergarment, but I just don't know y'all well enough to go there. 😉Bottom line: Bare Necessities has entered my browser bookmarks!

I usually get my bras for less than $60 at big box retailers such as lane bryant or Victoria's secret. When I wanted to check out their bra selection at Dillard's, Nancy at arrowhead towne center mall was ready to help, even didn't mind seeing my bare breasts while trying on different bras just to make sure they fit properly which you don't see at Victoria's Secret and actually wanted me to get a bra that fit well and not just sell me one. My bf also kept on raving how if I buy from Dillard's I buy for a lifetime (aka good quality clothes-price is worth it) so i skipped going to VS for bra shopping after all. The bra itself is extremely nice, perfect even. The problem is I need full-coverage light nude-colored bras that I can wear with light and white shirts without having to worry if you can see my nipples or my big boobs through my shirt, especially if I get really cold. And Wacoal doesn't really sell padded bras. Choose this bra because it was NOT lace and did not appear to be see through. The Rose dust is the prettiest pearly color - they should have lined the inside with a fabric that isn't sheer. The praline is too dark for my pale skin but at least it camouflages your nipples I guess. Please make pretty full coverage nude colored bras for white tee shirts that are not see through! And when did these go up to $75 ...
Bra fitted to me was too small around the ribs and cut my skin. The mesh fabric used on the bra is incredibly abrasive. Irritating. Nice that the ladies are good at fitting but I wasn't even able to fasten the bra myself but had to fasten it around the front and then swing it around back. Should one have to struggle so hard to be in a bra? The cost is high for so much pain and suffering. The bra is lovely but what use is that if I cannot wear it and now I am left with a red cut across my upper abdomen, and two very expensive bras that I cannot use?
I've worn the same bra for a very large number of years 34cs/ds, but suddenly they didn't fit well. Full marks to the assistant who gave me a general fitting at JLP West Quay. The moment I put this bra 32DD on it was so comfortable I didn't want to take it off. I also like the dual colour of the Black with a taupe lining. I bought it and one of my long standing bras in the same size and I'm so happy. Yes, it's expensive but the comfort and shape are worth it. Highly recommend to others needing a change in style and fit to have a general fitting appointment at JLP.
I have always worn Wacoal bras andlove them! I purchased 2 bras and came home and wore one to an event. By the time I got home, the underwire had caused bright red marks under my breast, along with extreme pain! I am hoping Nordstrom will let me return this bra, even though I wore it. I also was so disappointed that only certain colors were part of the Nordstrom Sale!!!! I had to choose a bright pink and I could not wear it with my lighter colored tops! I always have worn the "flesh" colored bras. I know the younger girls seem to not mind their bras colors being seen under their clothes!
I set out to buy new brassieres. That undoubtedly has to be the very least favorite shopping I have to do! When I went into the intimate apparel department, I met Alexia. She is by far the most competent, helpful and knowledgeable saleswoman I have ever met.Alexia asked me several questions and then went out and decided which brassieres I would like. After trying on a few I made my choice and haven't been one bit dissatisfied. They fit beautifully and are comfortable to wear all day long.I don't plan on wearing any other brand or design at this point in my life. Thank you all for the help.
Vanessa did my bra fitting and had me try on several brands and sizes. When she hit on this Wacoal Back Appeal we were both very pleased! I bought 2 of the bras, and I plan to go to Dillard's tomorrow and get another one! It is so comfortable, and actually I think it is the best fit I've ever had in a bra! I like the colors I chose--nude and black, and my next one will be the nude again. They have some lovely colors, but I'm just sort of basic. The whole personalized fitting should be a must for everyone! It certainly helped me, and I am so happy and pleased to have just the right fit! It fits in the back and doesn't ride up as the day goes on. As you can tell I am extremely satisfied with the purchases and appreciate Vanessa for the fitting!
