This is the bra that I currently wear for everyday. It is very comfortable and does indeed smooth the back. The slings help to keep breast tissue forward, which avoids underarm spillage. The band size is a little longer than other Wacoals I have worn and the band is very stretchy. I am already on the middle hook and can put it on the third without too much trouble. I was fitted, so I know the band size is correct. Time will tell if the band will stretch out to the point that the bra is no longer supportive. This bra would be a five star winner for the large breasted gal (like myself, 34G) if the cup fabric was the same as the Wacoal minimizers and if the band was made a bit smaller to account for the stretchy fabric. Wacoal, are you listening?

I purchased the beige version of bra 855303 in 39G at Nordstrom, Perimeter Mall, Dunwoody, GA five months ago. The stitching in this bra is falling apart. The first issue was with the stitching at the rear loop left bra strap (the loop attaching the strap to the band.) I had to hand sew and repair the faulty stitching myself. (pic attached)The major issue occurred yesterday with the disintegration of the seam that attaches the breastbone and underwire to the cup pic attached).I wash all of my bras with cold water by hand. I have never had this problem before. I am not sure if this requires a recall of this particular bra, but this issue was serious enough for me to notify Wacoal and make a return to Nordstrom.

Twenty years ago a friend told me about Wacoal bras, and I’ve worn those since. In fact, I have 20-year-old Wacoal bras that still feel and hold as the day I purchased them. I know my size and order it knowing it will fit just like the last one. The various designs ~~ again in my size ~~ never disappoint and all are in perfect condition. (Wash cold/delicate and hang to dry.) My major purpose to buy a new Wacoal is to enjoy a different color!
Best underwire bra bar none. Higher back gives excellent support. Fabric is super comfortable and gives me fantastic support. It is terribly hard for me to find a bra that fits because I am a DDD. This lovely lady helped me with my selection and although it runs $20 more than the one I use to wear it is money well spent.I come home at night and do not have major indentations on my shoulders. If you wear it now you will understand. If you wear something else you are missing the boat in comfort. The ladies in Dillards lingerie will fix you up.
This is the most comfortable bra I have ever had. It's gives me a lovely shape and is perfect under t shirts and fine, thin fabrics when you don't want your bra to show through. It does this without any uncomfortable foam or padding. Absolute bliss. I ordered my usual 34F which fits me perfectly. I wish it came in more colours as I would have one in every shade. Well worth the money.
I’m new to unlined bras and I bought three styles from Nordstrom including this one. The fit is great, it brings side set breast up and together with the built in sling. The color and fabric are both lovely. Unfortunately I returned it because it has essentially no nipple coverage. Out of the three I bought, this one was the worst. It doesn’t just show erect nipples, it shows the outline of the nipple and areola. I’m not just talking seeing through to the color of the areola, I mean it shows the outline of any bit of raised or puffy skin which is the nipple and areola. I can’t have it looking like I have no bra on under my tees which are basically all that I wear. I’m so sad I had to return it. Side note, I normally wear 34 D but in some bras a 34 E. The first time I paid this much for a bra was was looking forward to a next level bra.It's terrible. 2 major problems. Top of cup does not lay flat so . Odd and uneven construction of fabric over underwire.Wish I could return it - waste of money. The bras half this price are better options. Also very light/lack of support for a 36C and underwire digs in on side. Avoid!
I bought this to try out the back smoothing. To be honest, I’m sorry - I forgot all about that because this bra is so dang comfortable I forget I even have it on. It is so soft and so supportive and the cups have a thin stretchy material (no padding). I love it. I just bought the same style but in a front hook. I hope it fits as well and is as comfortable! I’m not sure I’d wear this to work under a thin blouse because of the no padding/thin cups but I work from home 3 days a week and it will definitely be my go to for that. I got up and looked in the mirror to see about the back smoothing and I can’t say it’s a miracle worker. But I’ve never purchased a back smoothing bra that was. Maybe if I went up a band size? Stephanie brought this bra in to me during anniversary even though I was going to buy my favorite from last year (and again in Anniversary this year) bra. I felt so comfortable and lifted that I chose this over buying more of the Chantelle I got last year. I do not particularly have a back flab issue but loved the secure but light feeling this bra gave me. It made me feel like there was no chance of "drooping in the front like happens in the lighter weight bras I have at home and like. Probably has to do with the band and support. Yet breathable bra and very nice feel. I took a 36 D in this style and often wear a 38 D.
