This lil paint sprayer does the job! This cut my time in painting tremendously with a nice even coat every time. I like how easy it was to set up and clean. Simply pour in the paint and you’re ready to start. I used it to paint a three car garage and o was surprised on how little overspray this sprayer had… no drip or paint drops from the ceiling either. This sprayer made for an easy and fast job that was well worth it! I am so happy that I invested in it. The spray gun was pretty light and easy to manipulate in small corners and in tight spots… o can honestly say there was nothing to note that I disliked about it as it made my project much easier and finished faster than I expected. I did expect an additional tip for stains etc. the tip it comes with is for paint ... MoreThis lil paint sprayer does the job! In this case, I felt they fell short and no longer had this additional piece. Nonetheless, it exceeded my expectations, just wished it came with the satin tip.

This Wagner Control Pro 130 sprayer is fantastic for getting my 6’ cedar fence stained. For my purpose (fence) it is excellent. it does occasionally spit and has no sprayer adjustments so I’m not sure it’s the best choice for critical spraying of furniture or cabinets- will test on a nightstand and report back. For exterior staining which you spray it on and then back-brush it in, this is a huge timesaver. The generous 20’ sprayer hose is nice. It is easy to operate- directions are clear. It cleans up easily. I’ve used it 7 hours a day for 4 days, finishing fence today. Only wish the on/off switch was easier to locate. I highly recommend this budget sprayer for large fence staining.

I never leave reviews but I had to for this one its was that bad. Before I purchased this I watched Youtube videos on how to use it. I followed step by step so I figured it should be a breeze. The first thing I noticed was the cover did not fit right and would not close tight. I decided I would just be careful when I move the machine and proceeded.I made sure everything was tight just like in the video. I made sure the tip was in properly and the nozzle was turned in the right direction before I started. The very first time I pulled the trigger I was blasted in the face with paint spewing out of the sides of the nozzle. It got it in my eyes and all over my shirt pants and sneakers. Needless to say everything went straight in the trash.I took everything apart and realized the little plastics spray fan that is supposed to be pre installed in the gun was not there. The manual clearly states it comes pre-installed but trust me it does not! You have to install it your self and it comes in a separate bag. If I was painting indoors I would of destroyed my house thank God I was painting a fence outdoors. After I installed the little plastic fan spray part in the gun it seemed like it was going to be ok. Yeah right after about 2 minutes of spraying the gun was leaking like a garden hose and paint was pouring everywhere. I had to tighten the end of the gun so tight that I struggled to spin the nozzle to open it. There was no way to stop the paint pouring everywhere while I was spraying. It took me nearly 2 hours to clean the machine up afterwards I was not happy. Its basically a disposable paint sprayer for $200.00. If there was a such thing as zero stars that's more like it 1 star is way to many. If you are daring enough to buy it I wish you luck but I will never buy anything from Wagner ever again!

I bought this in-store after seeing positive review videos on YouTube. I wish I would have double checked the Lowe’s reviews because I did not realize they changed the sprayer gun to a plastic one. And of course, Lowe’s keeps these locked up so it’s more difficult to read what you’re buying.I wish I would have returned it when I noticed but I decided to give it a try. This new gun is terrible. It drips stain all over the place and there is no decrease in overspray. I reached out to Wagner directly thinking I had a cracked and defective sprayer. They did send me a new one, but I did not have a better experience.I’m now trying to determine options for a refund because I still have a big project to complete and will need to find another sprayer.
waste of lots of money, time and energy - so excited to get my hands on a paint sprayer and didn't go cheap. Nevermind. The instructions are nearly useless. The hose is stiff and difficult to manage. Trying to manage the hose, the coupling comes loose at the machine and paint goes everywhere (I did tighten it down with two wrenches, as the instructions demanded). There seems to be no way to manage the pressure, so the over spray is awful. Every single centimeter I didn't cover has a fine mist of paint. Don't use this indoors. Unless you are painting a perfectly flat surface, it is nearly impossible to manage an even spray. It spits and drips. Unless you are painting a perfectly flat surface, it is nearly impossible to manage an even spray. It spits and drips. You CANNOT clean this thing inside or on your porch - cleaning it entails spraying water through the nozzle - the watery paint goes EVERYWHERE, even spraying it into a 5 gallon bucket, as instructed. With the amount of time and work entailed, uneven spray, faulty couplings and near impossibility to clean, I threw it away. I could have painted the wall I was working on twice over by hand in the time it took me to set this thing up, be highly disappointed in the output, have one spotty coat, frustratingly attempted to clean it out and threw it in the trash. Now I'm cleaning up the overspray and have resolved to paint by hand, moving forward. Expensive, hard learned lesson.
I bought this unit today at Lowe's. The package says that it will spray primer and paints without any thinner required. I sprayed about 5 ft with kills two primer and the whole thing clogged up. Had to clean the entire unit to get it to spray another four or five foot and it clogged up again. Completely clean the unit again and then sprayed from Sherman Williams interior latex paint. Just like with the kills too it sprayed about 5 ft and then it clogged up again. My package it all up return it to Lowe's got my money back I would not recommend this unit. I wasted a whole Saturday fooling around with this thing
IIt's a real bugger to clean. The paint tank has a nice looking shape, but every extra curve in the tank means an extra place you have to scrub out by hand. You go through a lot of paint thinner to clean it, which adds to the cost of the job.The paint tank lid doesn't stay on very well, and it's awkward to use. It's important because you don't want anything getting into the paint. In the top of the lid there are two indents for storing paint nozzle tips. They don't hold the tips in. Any nudge and you lose at $28 tip --It's decorative at best.Spray painting is a skill. If you've never done it before, it takes a while to develop. Like Any Pump Sprayer Unit, Be Sure to Properly Clean the Entire Unit, Pump/Tank, Hose, Spray Gun and Tip Assembly. Once the Hose Assembly is Properly Cleaned Out the Ends Can Be Easily Connected Together (by Hand/Fingers) When Coiled Back Up to Put Away, Hang Up Which Is Great Also.Would I Recommend = "Yes!!"
Product literature says you need a 411 tip for stain. Not true the provided 515 works fine. Don't loose the tip seal piece to the sprayer. I spent two hours on the internet trying to find the replacement part thinking I lost it in the cleaning process. Lucky for me I found it. Also, in my search i didn't recall seeing a replacement in line filter. Which means, eventuality I have to replace the spray gun with a hose, because the one supplied does not detach from the spray hose. Its not engineered to be used multiple times. Things wear out and as far as I can determine besides the spray tips parts will be hard to come by.
Ugh! I was determined to purchase a long lasting product. I cleaned the unit after both times I was able to use it successfully, then the nozzle starts leaking paint on the 3rd use. Tightening it does not stop this leak, and the leak is really bad. There is a gasket tip part that fits in the nozzle, and there are replacements. Swapping these out does not resolve the trouble. I think I need to replace the sprayer nozzle. Close inspection shows that the very small rubber gaskets on these tip parts rip when I try to tighten the tip to the spray gun. This is poor desing. The spray gun/nozzle is connected to the hose with no access to disconnect the hose.... so I would probably need to replace the hose as well.
