These give good support for your thumb but with continual wear the stitching holding the plastic support rips so plastic support falls out. Very difficult to stitch back in. I have to wear it constantly during the day so it gets expensive having to buy new ones all the time.

I bought this a few days after I had sprained my thumb and I am glad I did. It has two inflexible material on the sides of the thumb and an adjustable velco-like strap under the nail of the thumb, providing great stability. This has helped me continue doing workouts as I’m ensured that my finger is prevented from hyperextension. I love that it is adjustable for securing the top part of the thumb and at the wrist for a snug fit.
Better than other more expensive thumb splints. Allows you to adjust to suit your hand and enables you to use other fingers.Only better ones are made to fit your hand/thumb.
Loses the velcro stick on the thumbs within a day. Difficult to keep them tight around the wrist and in place .
The product claims to be for use on either hand but the stabilisers are in differerent positions so your right thumb is stabilised properly and the left is not stabilised at all. I have inserted an icy pole stick down the back of it to fix the problem while I find something that works
The solid brace bit left indents in my thumb after a few hours. Velcro thumb strap wore out after a few days. The 3M brand one is way better, more comfortable, spend the extra cash if you'll be wearing it more than a few days.
it works a treat and was cheap to buy
I bought one 2 days ago and the stitching is coming apart in the Velcro tabs and its already fraying around the edgings on the thumb and inner palm sections. The thumb strap also keeps coming undone. I do find it relatively comfortable and easy to have on it provides good stability to the thumb and muscles but that's it.
